Hallo Jenny. Vielen Dank für die große Hilfe. Ich mag immer deine Videos. Du hast sie mit viel Fleiß gemacht, um wir jeden Tag zu lernen. Ich freue mich dafür, weil es auf dieser Welt Menschen wie du gibt, dass uns sehr gut lehrt.
Vielen dank! This was the perfect way to practice what you've taught in the previous videos. I've been struggling with recognizing between dative and accusative, and this exercise really helped me bring it all together and I think I've finally got it :) Just what I needed! I'm working my way through your playlists, I really hope you have more of these quizzes!
Das ist großartig, gefallen mir. jenny du bist die beste deutcher lehren in den ganzen welt, ich lerne deutsch seit einem jahr und folge ich deine video immer. gut gemacht ! Vielen danke und eine schönen tag noch. and please keep going never stop your country must be proud of you and your videos should be spread more in all over the social media you deserve more views and likes from all the German learning seekers.
You are great darling. It was the best test I have ever solved. It helped and taught me a lot. Im planning to write all the sentences and explain them in office word and share with my friends. Thanks a lot.
Tausend Dank! Sie sind einfach die Beste! Bisher könnte ich den Akkusativ und Dativ nicht so gut verstehen, aber jetzt schon. Mit so viele Beispiele und auch gute Erklärung hat es ganz gut geklappt. Danke vielmals für Ihre Mühe. Viele Grüße!♡♥♥
This lesson was actually very good, like all others but like one commend that I’ve seen here : More exercises like this please ! Thanks for all the work, love your channel !
Quiz questions . Sie finde ich wirklich sehr gut. Ich wollte schnell antworten und konnte ich etwas. Ich freue mich darueber seher.ich danke.Ihnen herzlich fuer diese arbeit.
Vielen dank Jenny! Your channel has become a life saver for me. Q: Kennst du sie? this I can understand. But Q: Schmeckt ihm die Suppe? Here ihm is dativ, is it because of the verb schmeckt?
Hallo Lehrerin Jenny vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe und ich habe schon gemacht deine Hausaufgaben Danke und ich verstanden deine Hausaufgaben und vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe sehr gut Lehrerin Jenny Tschüß
Thank you Jenny, a brilliant exercise. My problem is that i have to check whether the noun is masc, fem or neutral before answering, which rather slows down the process! But thanks a lot for what must have been a lot of work.
great job ,God bless you . dear Jeni : we need more and more like this video , please make the answears six seconds later instead 2seconds so we can think better , wish you all the best ,,,,
Hallo. i have a question in number 34. why did you use IHN instead of ES, in the second sentence? Also in number 35, you used SIE instead of ES. is there a different rule for that? vielen dank.
The way I understand it is that IHN is referring to the suitcase, and since it is "Der Koffer" (masculine) then it's IHN not ES, unlike English where things are always "it" with no gender, things in German have genders and so the suitcase is IHN.
hi Jenny , though you have many great videos avaliable this is by far the best do you have other quiz type ones? just a question on the translation of.. know.. you use kennst .. i learned to use weiß (pronounced "vice") as in ich weiß es nicht are they interchangeable with your quiz examples or could you please explain the difference in use. thank you once again auf weidahoren , tschuss (my spelling may need practice haha) p.s how would you laugh in German text. English is hahaha but Spanish is jajaja
Nummer 51,das war schwer für mich, und ich dachte ich bin B1😅,aber das ist auch ,weil man von Englisch (nicht meine Muttersprache ist) nach Deutsch übersetzen muss...Super hilfreich,Danke Jenny!
Jenny, i just noticed that Haus becomes "Hause" (with an e) on certain phrases such as nach Hause and zu Hause. Now I'm curious as to why that happens, is it some sort or part of declension rules too? Thank you!
This quiz is a nice wrap up of the 58 videos coming before. It's wonderful that so many sentences and translations are given here (87!). I like the way it mixes easy, medium, and difficult questions and somewhat progresses in the same order as the videos. Although many questions were easy, the rate at which they were asked kept my attention (I didn't pause), and when I got questions wrong was mostly because I couldn't answer that fast. Even going through a second time was difficult with some. But that's good, since it shows where I'm weak. That's how you learn.
Estemal, vielen Dank für die Video. Es ist sehr gut und hilft uns. Eine Frage über 86. Den Kindern ist langweilig. (Den Kindern sind Plural), warum "ist" benutzen und nicht "sind"
very useful...thanks a lot..still did not understand why not saying (Den Kindern sind langweilig)...why did you said (Den Kindern ist langweilig)...can you please explain?
Amore J the verb sein is not referring to the kids, it is referring to the implied “it”. The sentence is literally translated to “it is boring to the children”. Den Kindern IST langweilig. Just like with “mir ist kalt” - “it is cold to me”
As you know in german the nouns have articles (m,f,n). In the second sentence the english 'it', is actually a masculine thing. Therefore, er becomes --> ihn.
Hello teacher! I have one question considering the placement of sentence constituents: in forming of questions, is the position of subject and object in dative flexible? For example: 1)Gehört das Fahrrad ihm? or 2)Gehört ihm das Fahrad? Or: 3)Schmeckt ihr die Suppe and 4)Schmeckt die Suppe ihr? Are all of these examples grammaticaly correct?
Kronos Araya no, because suitcase has already been referred to previously and we know suitcase is masculine. In the second sentence we say “ihn” (which also means him), because we know that ihn refers to the suitcase mentioned in the previous sentence.
no.20 Why is it not " Ich gefalle deine Schuhe." ??? when you "like" something which is case of something one is wearing, "Gefallen" is used. You tought us in Dative Verb class !!!
dikshant singh because literally translated it is “your shoes please me”. The verbs goes with shoes, not with “I”. Deine Schuhe gefallen mir. It is “gefallen”, because “shoes” is plural and the verb is conjugated (or in this case left in infinitive).
Hallo Jenny, vielen dank für ihre videos. Ich habe eine Frage: Q.26, warum sagen Sie "unser hotel" und nicht "unseres hotel", Hotel is neutral=> das Hotel, ich verstehe nicht :(
Thank you for the quiz! But when you say " I am buying the ticket" you said Ich kaufe das ticket isn't that supposed to be akkusativ? (das is dem) Let me know if I am wrong!
The best exercise I have ever done. Thanks a lot!!🧡💛

Hi, jenny I like these Excercise videos,
And in ex.#34 why to put "ihn" replace by "es" as shown in the table. is the "it" goes for "Suitcase".
Same for 35...die Tür?
Or they keep their gender?
You got it wrong. It's in English a suitcase would be it but in German der Koffer is maskulin you should say Ihn.
Tausend Dank! Sie sind einfach die Beste! Bisher könnte ich den Akkusativ und Dativ nicht so gut verstehen, aber jetzt schon.
Mit so viele Beispiele und auch gute Erklärung hat es ganz gut geklappt.
Danke vielmals für Ihre Mühe. Viele Grüße!♡♥♥

This type of exercise video is really helpful. Thanks!

For the q.17 I answered "Sie zieht den Schal an." Isn't it also correct depending on the context?
Very good.I always like all about the learsons.Thank you.
Hi jenny... how to know the difference between akkusativ and dativ please... thank you
Hello dear Jenny, thanks for the fabulous video, I just want to ask for the number #86 why you use “ ist “ not “ sind “ ??
Zum ersten Mal, sehe ich Ihr Video und hat mir sehr gefallen .
Danke schön für Ihre Mühe ☺☺☺☺.

the example #86, Den kindern sind or ist langweilig?
Regards
Thanks for this
Sehr schönes Video. Ich habe eine Frage, "den Kindern ist langweilig" oder "den Kindern sind langweilig". Und warum ist es wenn richtig. Danke schön.
Jenny, i just noticed that Haus becomes "Hause" (with an e) on certain phrases such as nach Hause and zu Hause. Now I'm curious as to why that happens, is it some sort or part of declension rules too? Thank you!
Kathleen Dominguez that’s the rule for “Haus” after a Dativ preposition
Danny Allen ach so! Thank you for the clarification! 😊
Jenny, thats a really helpful quiz.. We are looking forward for more of them!!!
There are tons of quizzes in my app on Germanwithjenny.com

Danke scön Jenny!! Aber habe ich eine Frage. "Die Kindern ist Langweilig" . Wie man 'ist' benutzt, wenn da 'Kindern' plural ist. Bitte erklären!!
Danke für die Prüfung. Wir erwarten mehr wie diese.
Hallo Jenny! Hätte eine Frage, warum verwendest du "kindern mit singular "ist" ? warum nicht mit " sind "
Kindern ist hier nicht das Subjekt sondern das Objekt.
So,what was the subject in the sentence? Im confused too how it became ist
Excellent vedio. I consider myself to very fortunate to have watched it I wish we had such facility in1978.
Estemal, vielen Dank für die Video. Es ist sehr gut und hilft uns. Eine Frage über 86. Den Kindern ist langweilig. (Den Kindern sind Plural), warum "ist" benutzen und nicht "sind"
Danke Jenny Super gemacht
These lessons are so useful to me! Thank you! Hello from Brazil!
very useful...thanks a lot..still did not understand why not saying (Den Kindern sind langweilig)...why did you said (Den Kindern ist langweilig)...can you please explain?
Amore J the verb sein is not referring to the kids, it is referring to the implied “it”. The sentence is literally translated to “it is boring to the children”. Den Kindern IST langweilig. Just like with “mir ist kalt” - “it is cold to me”
This was perfect ❤️❤️❤️
After going through this test, it has become clear this is my "Achilles heel".Thank you for these valuable lessons!
Very useful video
Hello Jenny
question 34.The suitcase is heavy. He is carrying it
Der Koffer ist schwer.Er tragt ihn
Why did you use ihn instead of es
As you know in german the nouns have articles (m,f,n). In the second sentence the english 'it', is actually a masculine thing. Therefore, er becomes --> ihn.
this really could help me.thanks jenny!
Good exercise for all cases
Hello teacher!
I have one question considering the placement of sentence constituents: in forming of questions, is the position of subject and object in dative flexible? For example: 1)Gehört das Fahrrad ihm? or 2)Gehört ihm das Fahrad? Or: 3)Schmeckt ihr die Suppe and 4)Schmeckt die Suppe ihr? Are all of these examples grammaticaly correct?
In sentence 34 wouldn't the correct be: "Er trägt es"?
Kronos Araya no, because suitcase has already been referred to previously and we know suitcase is masculine. In the second sentence we say “ihn” (which also means him), because we know that ihn refers to the suitcase mentioned in the previous sentence.
Danke Jenny liebe von 🇨🇭 Switzerland
no.20 Why is it not " Ich gefalle deine Schuhe." ??? when you "like" something which is case of something one is wearing, "Gefallen" is used.
Exelent video, well explained
Jenny do you have tips for exams lesen und hören A2?

Hallo Jenny, vielen dank für ihre videos.
Ich habe eine Frage: Q.26, warum sagen Sie "unser hotel" und nicht "unseres hotel", Hotel is neutral=> das Hotel, ich verstehe nicht :(
