A moment of silence for those who said Czerny is for beginner children.
I know and it's quite annoying, most people who say that shouldn't even have been born because they are far from knowing Czerny's repertoire and I'm here to change that !! all who see my message subscribe to my channel where there is unknown music by Czerny among other Composers, as well as my Compositions. Finally I would like to say that Chopin has no way of competing with the most difficult works of Czerny
Impressive! Czerny was a VERY good composer. Liszt said, that Czerny could have been one of THE greatest, if he had given more time to his own artistic development and less to Etudes. Often it becomes quite clear, that he was a great inspiration for Chopin.
There's a lovely set of variations here which are not too difficult - La Ricordansa: ua-cam.com/video/bksaX_zLcQA/v-deo.htmlm58s - Horowitz was fond of them.
@@rosiefay7283 correct! but at the same we can be appreciative of others who decide to teach others with more potential than their own. It shows a humility and God likes that .
Felicidades.
A work of majesty and honor. Libetta definately has played the best version I've heard. Everyone always either plays it way too slow or just messes up constantly. Well done!
@@lunchmind Chopin said that the first time he met Czerny! but time later Chopin learned to compose the Nocturne form when he stayed in Paris at Czerny's house! Chopin was delighted with the Nocturne 4 of Op.368
Oh my gosh! Is very hard to perform some dinamics. It's really hard to pratice with a high perfection, but is the best interpretation I heard about it.
It is indeed! Jack Gibbons once had the courage to play Alkan’s 121 page Concerto for Solo Piano as an encore; Pollini Stockhausen’s Klavierstücke; and Hamelin Szimanovski’s 2nd Sonata. All quite impressive indeed.
Grandissimo Francesco e grandissimo Czerny. Pensaci
This is definitely one of the most exciting ones from Op 740, "The Art of Finger Dexterity". If only Czerny had given equal challenge to the LH that he gave to the RH, in this and many of his studies.
Czerny has the left hand school Op.399 the most difficult etudes written for the left hand, and Op.400 which combines fugue and etude, surpassing Liszt and Alkan etudes
A Bravoure Etude with Grandeur. A stunning piece in Chopin style. I think the man could just about do anything on the piano. Competionwise he would have beaten Alkan and liszt in the old days.

Czerny: Lets compose music for beginners
Also Czerny: Lets start with this piece
Actually, he wrote this long after he started teaching.
Op. 599 is for beginners
Op. 299 is for intermediate
Op. 740 for advanced
Op. 365 is for the virtuoso
Op. 740 and op. 365 are very similar in difficulty...
@@bigdick3228 299 is for intermediate until you reach around 20 or 30. Not considering the tempo indications
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻
Incredible tempo. That is what dexterity is.
It depends on the performer, I guess.
I think this etude is one of Czerny's masterpieces. It is technically demanding, but also very melodious and beautiful!
Since this piece got me into a conservatory it'll always have a special place in my heart. So much fun to learn
Igual recomend Czerny Op.756 And Op.837

Since this piece got me into an asylum it'll always have a special place in my heart.
Did you play it in the literal tempo?
same here 🥺
First time i recognize Czernys genius...
Pseudo Nym the significance of his etudes already represent his intelligence.
Listen to Czerny's sonata in b minor
Yes he was a genius composer!!!
Maybe not genius, but he is definitely amazing
Me too!!

Uhh, Chopin died befor Czerny even written this
Czerny is just awful.

Awful is your comment!
You must not have heard any other brilliant pieces from him!
What do you have to offer?
I could never drink enough coffee to play that fast.

The fact that czerny taught greatest pianist of all time mean he is the greatest teacher of all time.
And a wonderful composer might I add
And Beethoven taught czerny. So does that mean that Beethoven is the best teacher‘s who also taught some of the greatest pianists best teacher?
@@SILAS-cb9xl they all teached each other, when I learn Music History I found it so interesting that they all know each other in person somehow.
It doesn't follow. Chopin achieved much more than his teacher ever taught him.

Lol this comment is kind of bizarre but amusing
Maravilhoso!
Brilhante execução !
Bravissimi. An amazing interpretation, of a fabulous piece/étude which requires virtuoso abilities on a grand scale.
Meraviglioso!!! Bravissimo Francesco!
So this is what a student from Beethoven can do… beyond god level!
Uno studio davvero meraviglioso.
So NOW we know where Chopin got so many ideas from....not just Bach.....BRAVO !
Harold Shonberg cites a quote by CHopin about Czerny "He's warmer than any of his compositions". I guess Chopin was not being totally honest here

Chopin got ideas from Bach? I can listen to Bach all day but Chopin puts me to sleep.

Amazing performance, wow!
This studio is actually wonderful and passionate.
Now i can finally apreciate Czerny’s studies.

One of my favourite Czerny studies. Really fun to to play.......
Marshall Goodwin true:)
Try Czerny OP.399 Etude 10 or op.756 Etude 3 And 10
thankyou for for putting this video on - I was not aware of these studies - seem worth looking at before attempting say the Chopin etudes
Nah, better come back when you're done with them! You'll understand after...
awesome!
Czerny was Liszt's teacher. Need I say more?
bravo!!
Perfeito
It reminds me a bit of Chopin's studio "Ocean" Op.25 No.12, amazing...
And the study op.10 no.1 (but in minor rather than major, of course).
So impressive
This beautiful one sounds like present for practitioners from Czerny, in the end of practitioners’ huge efforts for 30, 40, 50 series.

To play it this fast and this cleanly is quite difficult
Easy to Play slowly but this virtuoso plays it like Chiffra
easy? Easy is the revolutionary study of Chopin, those etudes are really easy even the Ocean etude, Aeolian Harp, Etude 2 And Etude Butterfly are easy
