Missed 6. But I think the answer to the earth's metal is silicon, not aluminum. What does everyone else think?
As a chemist I can say that though silicon has some metal properties it also has non metal properties and is correctly referred to as a metalloid. For the sake of argument it does not satisfy the criteria of a true metal and thus aluminium is correct here.

Bonus: Taxidermy. Very interesting quiz, quite thrilled with myself for managing 40/50. You are an absolute genius Sean for coming up with such variety of questions.
Silicon is considerate be a metalloid. It is a semi-conductor and has other metal properties. It is second to O in abundance; Al is the third. Si beats Al.
But Silicon is not considered a metal since it is as you have stated a metalloid. So aluminium is correct from a scientific point of view.
@@markkettlewell7441 Well; as an analytical chemist I can tell you silicon is a metalloid be cause it behaves like a metal; and as such transfers elections in semi conductors. Non metals can't do that.
@@proteusaugustus But this is immaterial, I grant you that it has properties similar to metals and is considered a metalloid as we both agree, but it is not considered a true metal as far as scientific classification is concerned. So for the purposes of this quiz question, silicon is not a true metal and therefore Aluminium can be the only correct answer. You are not the only chemist here 🤔.
