To make the scent last longer, only use half the reeds, (especially in smalls spaces, you will still get a good enough throw). I only turn my reeds once a week, i used to do it every day, but the oil disappeared very quickly that way.

I just started using a reed diffuser. It had simple tutorials on how it should be used, but I'm lost. I don't even know where to place the reeds, thinking the oil will evaporates quickly if I let the bottle open, so I dipped the reeds inside for a minute and used another container to place the reeds 😂. My room did got the smell though, so I thought I did it right. Will try to do it your way now.

I just got a couple bottles yesterday from Walmart. Didn’t know what it is but I smelled em & it smelled good & was curious. I have white flowers and woods smell also sea moss & sage smell. Using the white flower one. So far the smell is spreading already

If that's the case, you may just want to get rid of your reed diffuser completely or simply remove the reeds and cover it back up if you kept the lids. Hope this helps. Good luck! - A u r o r a
I bought one from Target and its been super disappointing. I placed it in the bathroom about 3 weeks ago and I havent been able to smell the scent in the air since. Soaked it for a day and then flipped. Flipped it about once a week after. Brand is called Project 62. Gonna try a different brand.

I recommend disposing or switching out the reeds once all of the oil has been used up and you plan to repurpose the bottle and make your own diy. As you'll still get a hint of the scent, especially is the wind blows, but it's not as potent. For example, my bedroom is about 10' x 14' and the reed difusser smells stronger when the door is closed. I hope that helps. Try it and let me know your experience. Hi duenow1! Thanks for you kind comment and watching my video! Those are excellent questions. Yes, the oil eventually dries out because one rotates the reeds. The best way to change the intensity of the scent is by rotating the reeds as often as possible. Granted the less you do it, the longer the oil will last, but then again you won't get a strong scent. In another guide video it said that the reeds need to be turned around after 20-25 minutes instead of 24 hours in your video. So which one is true? 😅 But the reeds in that other video is smaller though.

@@toniaquino500 heyyy i actually have done it. I made it DIY with subflower oil, concentrate, and alcohol. The sunflower oil stay there and wont used up because it is oil, the other composition will used up. I used 50ml bottle. And if u do t flip the stick, its not a big deal because the concentrate and alcohol will be absorbed by the stick because it is water. The oil are used for it has longer time to used off., sorry my english is bad haha. I still havent got the perfect formula for it, but it is cheap to try. 50ml bottle with 5 stick can fill up 4 x 4 meters room.

I just started using a reed diffuser. It had simple tutorials on how it should be used, but I'm lost. I don't even know where to place the reeds, thinking the oil will evaporates quickly if I let the bottle open, so I dipped the reeds inside for a minute and used another container to place the reeds 😂. My room did got the smell though, so I thought I did it right. Will try to do it your way now.

I just got a couple bottles yesterday from Walmart. Didn’t know what it is but I smelled em & it smelled good & was curious. I have white flowers and woods smell also sea moss & sage smell. Using the white flower one. So far the smell is spreading already

If that's the case, you may just want to get rid of your reed diffuser completely or simply remove the reeds and cover it back up if you kept the lids. Hope this helps. Good luck! - A u r o r a

I bought one from Target and its been super disappointing. I placed it in the bathroom about 3 weeks ago and I havent been able to smell the scent in the air since. Soaked it for a day and then flipped. Flipped it about once a week after. Brand is called Project 62. Gonna try a different brand.

I recommend disposing or switching out the reeds once all of the oil has been used up and you plan to repurpose the bottle and make your own diy. As you'll still get a hint of the scent, especially is the wind blows, but it's not as potent. For example, my bedroom is about 10' x 14' and the reed difusser smells stronger when the door is closed. I hope that helps. Try it and let me know your experience. Hi duenow1! Thanks for you kind comment and watching my video! Those are excellent questions. Yes, the oil eventually dries out because one rotates the reeds. The best way to change the intensity of the scent is by rotating the reeds as often as possible. Granted the less you do it, the longer the oil will last, but then again you won't get a strong scent. In another guide video it said that the reeds need to be turned around after 20-25 minutes instead of 24 hours in your video. So which one is true? 😅 But the reeds in that other video is smaller though.

@@toniaquino500 heyyy i actually have done it. I made it DIY with subflower oil, concentrate, and alcohol. The sunflower oil stay there and wont used up because it is oil, the other composition will used up. I used 50ml bottle. And if u do t flip the stick, its not a big deal because the concentrate and alcohol will be absorbed by the stick because it is water. The oil are used for it has longer time to used off., sorry my english is bad haha. I still havent got the perfect formula for it, but it is cheap to try. 50ml bottle with 5 stick can fill up 4 x 4 meters room.
