I think this is the most well rounded team! Last year and Aja’s teams both really depended on the star big and weren’t consistent shooting. This team has it all. You have to guard them all cuz anyone can get a bucket.
I am a huge Caitlin Clark fan so I root for Iowa but you are correct. The improved shooting of South Carolina along with elite size and athleticism makes me believe no one will beat SC this year. I would love to see Iowa get to the finals vs them but their weakness is inside defense and they face a lot of big teams so I will be surprised if they do. Either way, pretty obvious to me that SC is huge favorites vs whoever they play.

@@vernonkelly3379 and don’t get me wrong, s Carolina is the 1 seed so they earned the easiest path, but Iowa being the 2 seed certainly didn’t get the 2nd easiest. 3 of top8 teams in same region, 5 teams in the region that at one point in the year was ranked in the top 5. I laugh when people say the ncaa is trying to get Iowa to finals and they did that by giving them w Virginia, Colorado, winner of ucla/lsu which are all big physical teams and guarding big teams is Iowas biggest weakness. Like I said, I will be shocked if Iowa gets back to final four based on their matchups…but if anyone can overcome the size issue, it is Caitlin Clark…
this team is the best sc team EVER offensively. defensively they may be 3rd behind 2017 & 2023, just not as consistent EVERY game as the other years but not super far behind. that being said this is probably dawn’s most complete team ever.
I like the offensive Rondo comparison. Like you said, I don’t think they have a bad game ahead of them. They are peaking big time. I like Watkins starting and chloe coming off the bench too. Really doesn’t matter because they both will get buckets. Milaysia leads the team in scoring most games off the bench. Lol.
Here I am, watching your reaction to my team playing an traditional rival. In their last 8 contests they are 4 and 4, with only one point difference between total points scored. If you are not aware of it, nearly everybody on our team can, and is subject to go off on you, at any time, in any game. And yes, their brand of basketball is beautiful to watch.
I think this is definitely our most well-rounded team for sure. We have never had this many good shooters but we have always had elite posts.

I don't watch too much South Carolina basketball bc they are just too good. 10 - 42 in the middle of the second quarter? LMAO. I guess you said they have slow starts, but when it's just a blow out and not your fav team, it's not terribly exciting IMO. I can't say if this team is better than last year for certain, but I'm thinking YES! North Carolina I think beat NC State (3 seed) at one point, so not bad at all.
I do love watching them play LSU. I think the problem is they know how to beat LSU, so if LSU were to take it all again, they would need to get past Iowa/Colorado (both tough), UCLA AND probably USC. Hope Texas or Standford can knock off S Carolona? Doubtful. I don't know, maybe third time is the charm? When Ohio State got upset by Maryland in the Big Ten Champ, the commentators had said "It's very difficult to beat the same basketball team 3 times."
South Carolina beat Tennessee 3 times already and will beat LSU a third time as well.
