Ayya Khema (1923 - 1997) was one of the most prominent Theravada Buddhist nuns. Her life story is impressive and inspiring as she has founded severeal monasteries around the world. Her teachings are straight forward and practical.
There are several books that I can recommend out of her catalogue as her instructions of medtiation technique is great. However the one book that stands out for me is her biography:

She was truly special! Thanks for the link. The 4th part is unfortunately a repeat of some previous part. Its 4 separate parts put together. Maybe the footage got lost. That would be a shame!
