Zebra has done quite nice with this line. I like these special editions, or whatever they want to call them. Fantastic color choices, I'm noticing people are beginning to catch on about buying these up just to have a specific color combination you want. Which is great that Zebra has been updating this pen and keeping it interesting.
I have a few of these from the original release, the gold and a rose pink shade. My hands are small and I find them to be heavy for all day writing, such as at work. I have also experienced the finish on both the pens flaking off eventually, particularly along the seam above the tip area, which is where your fingers grip the pen. Could be because the pen rubs against other stuff in my pen case. Still, a nice pen. If I were to buy another, I would probably just keep it and use it at home as a desk pen, not carry it around.
Have them all almost. Opted not to have the matte black color. One thing that I don't like is how it tappers off at the tip of the pen by a centimeter or two. It just feels different to me but I can get used to it. I also bought them at Japan Amazon for the same price.
is it still full metal on the barrel? iam a lil bit confused since in the review its metal but in the amazon jp page it said made with resin for the vintage series.
How do you change the clip? By turning the clip counter clockwise? Or you use tools to grab the ring above clip and turn it? Mine locked in dead position

I've been collecting Sarasas - I definitely want that one, it's gorgeous!
Big fan of the Sarasa's as it is, so this is tempting and the look of the metal barrel is drawing me towards them even more. Thanks for posting.

Just picked up the Vintage in red and I love it! I did swap out the red ink for blue so I can use it for work.
I have to agree, I like the Vintage body colors more than I like the vintage ink colors.

So did they fix the wiggle in the cartridge that bothered you initially?
Seems better yes

The great thing is they're not limited edition so I can collect over time
i LOVE the grand and the I LOVE the vintage and I really wanted like 5 of these but all the colors I want sold out :(
would these be compatible with pentel energel refills? I want to buy all the grand's, but swap black with pentel energel ink
Yes, it is compatible. It is Parker G2 Style refill
I use these pens with Energel refills. I have three of them in different colors.
Using LRN5 in mine now
Can you please confirm that construction is all metal? In Amazon India site it's listed as "Resin" as material.
its all metal

Mine locked in dead position
Yeah, just turn it. Some are really locked down and it's hard to do without damaging it. Try wearing a rubber/latex glove for extra grip
I like it. It will be a nice addition. 👍
Can energel or pilot rt refills be used in this?
Yes energel will fit
@@unsharpen thanks! good to know
Why did you have to make this video! Now I have to make the "grown-up" decision and only get one. How will I choose? There are so many nice colors!
Do normal sarasa grands have a satin finish on the pen?
No. Normal ones are matte or gloss
do the normal sarasa refills fit the grand?
Yes
