Great work. I am inspired to do my own soon. I'm curious as to how do you keep the clients real hair from sticking out from the twist? I want to do the method were you use the crochet tool and pull the extension hair through since I do not know how to braid and add the hair in
The clients natural hair and the extensions should be twisted together. As the hair ages, just like natural locs, you may need to wrap the hair around itself to train it to loc in that direction.

If possible please make a video of using that hair extensions on already existing locks to make them longer. I have about 14inch locks and tried using lose hair like that from qvr to extend it but the ends looked thin😅
I have a video on this. Microloc extensions installation and I’m on the thumbnail in a navy top. If the ends look thin then you need to add hair little by little to make it thicker
Couldn't you apply this same method for standard size starter locs? I'm surprised I haven't seen someone request that service yet.
I think if they were bigger/standard, they would look more like kinky twist.
How many packs of hair is recommended for a full install?

my problem with the twists is most of the time I have to add in pieces of hair to get to my desired length, but I see you don’t do that here. Is it because it’s not shown or is it generally just one piece is really enough for each twist?
If I need to I will but my clients request a certain length and that is the length of hair that is purchased
@@Melthestylistt is there a way to add in those pieces for longer length (I'm assuming twisting while you twist) that minimizes potential slippage? I can imagine those twisted in length pieces make it very hard to stay in tact
@Daizy10231023 it’s all about technique. You have to twist properly in order for the hair to stay

You do not need to wash the hair?
You can do as you please with your own hair in your own instal.
Why did you loop some hair once and the other twice?
It depends on how tight it originally is at the root. Some only need one rotation and some need more than one

I have never done braidlocs. I only do twists.
So you twist to the north ?Am I correct I was twisting south and my loc was just unraveling
When I tried this style, initially I twisted to the left and my twists unraveled. But I then twisted to the right and they stayed.
