You can store a CO2 cartridge in the pistol grip too.
I got this for wife because very quite, light and she likes the form. Just a heads up in case you aren’t aware; the moderator fits the pistol barrel, BUT, factory used the serious lock tight on the threads. Can boil water and insert thread section for a good minute or use a heat gun- maybe a hair dryer. I used boiling water. Worked like a charm. Thanks man

Great video and overall review, the rifle is also great to tinker with, almost built me entire UA-cam channel off of this gun.
i switched my diana bandit and chaser kit. made my own little hybrid rifle . 18 ft lbs. put the regulator in it turned it down to 15 and made it my truck gun. 20 shots per fill . shooting 16 gr perfect quiet and straight shooting. great review as always

@@jeremyblackwater439 yeah it is but if i keep it there i only get 18-21fte. i turned it down to 125 bar on the regulator and with a 16gr slug im getting 15fpe. i am happy with that just not the silencer on the end. that is the next upgrde.
PCP would be nice because my chaser will not shoot in hot weather even with Spacers behind the hammerspring

Been watching for one of these Diana Chaser kits for quite a while now. Definitely would want one someday. Not even expensive.
Way cool with a pistol-rifle combo. Got an Umarex Morph BB pistol-rifle - which is so damn nice to own. Light as anything can be - but shoots hard af. This Diana would then instead be a fun kit for pellet shooting.

@@OTSA got a avenger for my first PCP got a 2240 for my c02 a couple years ago and want a rechargeable pistol would this fit the bill? Saw someone sell a Diana chaser PCP build on air gun archery fun website.
@@pricelessppp It could work I'm sure, but it depends on if you want to spend the money or time to convert it. If you spend a little more you could just get a Hatsan Jet, which fits exactly what you're looking for and has more options for attachments, etc.
You could also find a Chaser second hand that's already converted as well. So it's really your call at the end of the day. But those are some options for you.

_I debated getting this or the famous 2240 for a while but I just pulled the trigger on the 2240 for the customizations and parts avaibility here on Kenada... but id sure like to try one one day even if they are only avaible in a 495fps version here and might be banned soon._

I moded my .22 & am getting above 10 foot pounds of energy which isn't bad for a CO2,... Clean kills of Starlings @ 30 yards without holdover :)
The Diana Stormrider mags work as well. I have one of these kits as well and love it. Usually leave it in "carbine" mode though. Sadly here in Canuckstan suppressors are prohibited even on air guns.
That's crazy the amount of restrictions up that way.

Have one and i love it!! Except here in canada it didn't came with the end of the barrel. Gov. Say it is a silencer/suppressor. Wich is illégal. And there is a window to see if there is co2 in the chamber nice vidéo. And i don't remove the rear sight on the pistol when going to rifle. Very accurate from the box. .this thing shoots!!🤩

I put a Froggy's Airguns drop block on mine and I'm running a 15ci 4500 psi tank that's regulated to 800 psi. I can shoot a 500 count tin of pellets between fills.
In pistol version is this hitting harder than the Diana Airbug?

Hi off the Shelf I have a chaser and I like it a lot it shoots great . Have you try to put a suppressor on the pistol Barrel I was thinking about trying one of buck rails suppressors on a pistol Barrel if you tried it please let me know this is old George from Northern California have a great day
I actually haven't tried that yet George, I've just had it in rifle mode since I got it. I might look into trying that though.
Their slightly costly. But I would love to one in each caliber. .177. & .22.

Yeah I've seen those. I'm good with my 12 gram CO2 version. Easy to deal with when you only have a short time to get out and shoot.
But it might be perfect for what you're looking for. Just remember, the Hatsan Jet and the Umarex Notos are hand pump friendly as well Andy. They don't take long to fill. 1 to 2 minutes tops. Even less if you don't let it go into the red and top it off.
But that Diana PCP conversion might be perfect for you since it would take even less time to fill. 🤷
@@OTSA I tend to love the NOTOS and Jet way more than the bandit I'll wait till then! They got Tactical rail clamp mounts that would fit well on the notos as long as they're clamp based and not full circle google PP750 rail barrel bands. Oh and is Olight any good for my 2240?
Help please, my girlfriend bought this Chaser single shot and before I got home she had tried to use it but said no pellets came out after about 5 tries. She said she kept loading them in and pressing trigger but no pellets came out. I think she jammed the pellets in the barrel, because I shine a light and cannot see thru the barrel and I put a flexible plastic line (section of weed eater plastic line) and it will not go through the barrel. If I put the plastic wire from the breach side it only goes in about 1/2 inch, and from the barrel end side it travels about 7 inches but doesn't appear thru the other side. And I idea how to clear it? I assume push from the breach side but the plastic is too flexible but a hard rod cannot push them from the breach side. Any help how to clear it?
Well I assume you have the barrel removed, correct? Maybe instead of just pushing the rod through, try tapping to see if that loosens them up? You got to be careful though because you don't want to ruin the rifling in the barrel. That's a tricky situation. If you think it's too bad off that you might ruin something, then maybe take it to a gun shop where they can help you. With that many pellets jammed in there it's going to be an operation for sure. I can't say I've dealt with a jam quite like that.

Dragon fly.... I would put on a 3D printed silencer..... In case that you double load With the magazine and damage the silencer...?... I could be wrong but I thought I saw someone said that they damaged their silencer
Great review video, thanks for posting. Walnut & Steel sent me here. @African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner (Tyrone) convinced me to buy one with his reviews and mods. I bought the pistol kit in .22 also, as soon as I shot it I got online and bought a Stormrider. I keep the Chaser in carbine configuration, the Stormrider handles the rifle duties. The magazines are a must. The Chaser kit is an incredible bargain..... I think I paid $120 for mine, delivered.

Yeah I mention that fact near the end of the video. That's why I specifically state that I won't be doing any FPS tests or anything like that in this video, just some plinking. It works perfectly fine for plinking in cold weather. 🍻
Anyone know where to buy just the stock/grip?
Is the moderator welded on to the rifle barrel, or can it be removed? I live in California, and we're not allowed moderator if it's removable.
So it's removable, but it's also proprietary, so its not just swappable. You would actually have to make some modifications to use a different moderator. But yes, the one on it can be unscrewed, so I don't know if that qualifies or not. That's lame that you have to put up with that over there. So much for a free country 🤨

Why don't Crossman make a replaceable barrel with an integral suppressor or the Hubar GX1 or the Benjamin Marauder 22. I think that if the air gun companies did this, they would have a lot of business from the 7 or 8 states that don't allow suppressors.
