We just bought an Altima 3.5 SL. It is fast. I drove the Maxima too, it's smaller. We decided on the Altima. I almost got a ticket the first day driving this car! She has the juice, that's for sure ;-)
Same bro i came from maxima to altima v6 SL . But i have a question .have you ever got transmission problem ?
@@rahelagha7638 I had the 2016 2.5sl best car on the planet but I kid u not i got a pre-owned one with 24000 miles at purchase. 2 weeks later I was at Nissan because the cat gave out.
Drove both 2017 max and 2017 altima, altima felt very spacious compared to maxima, the power difference was very minor..decided on the altima 3.5, picked it up for 18k, with 19k miles 💸, cheapest maxima I could find was 24k
Found a 2016 Maxima S with 12k miles for $21K so the choice was made for me. So glad I got the Maxima. Everybody and their mother has an Altima. Also $330 payment with a 7 year note. Right now I only have 18k mi on it.
I found an 2017 altima 3.5 sr for $14,500 but at 47xxx miles. It was a rental car previously. I loved it though on the test drive. I had to have it.
Thank you for this great review. I'm currently looking at purchasing a 2017 Altima 3.5.
Legit good review. Pretty informative. Keep it up man
I was going 2 pick one up. it was a used 2016 3.5sl with 5k miles. only around 21k!
nice video, love the fly-by's. I had the '07 alt 3.5 SE and now have a '16 MAX SV, you're right, you can't throw around the MAX the way you could with the Altima (it's too bulky), but the MAX feels more premium/solid when driving it.
+mitchlu I completely agree. The MAX is way more premium/solid car.
@mitchlu did the Altima 3.5 feel faster than the Maxima?
Love the way you add in some affordable V6 options!
The 3.5sr is more sport themed and the 3.5sl is more luxury themed
I just bought me one yesterday and I love it. My mom is jealous because it’s an upgrade then. We both got the same car n trim n yr but I got more than her.
Good review & great Nissan.
Perfect video ... Thanks Bro. 🍒
I got me the 3.5 sl. I love it, I already have a 01 maxima.
NICE. I had a 2002 Nissan Maxima. it was a fun car
@@GRyders does the 2017 Altima 3.5 feel faster than the 2002 Maxima you had?
Now you can buy one used with low mileage for about $20k in 2019. I bought a used 2012 infiniti M37 for about $11k and it was in very good shape. It's as fast as this car. I wouldn't buy an altima with CVT though. I don't like those transmissions from Nissan. I have the 7 speed auto transmission which I consider it better.
I lobe the m37 it's a great car but I like the cvt for response better than the m37. It's actually pretty equal in speed but the cvt is much smoother than the m37 transmissions.
Great video ! Earned a sub :)
Nice vid. Thanks
Great review bro
Thanks!!!
I have the 2014 nissan altima 3.5.SL and i love it . the 6 cylinder really makes the car ..2019 altima only comes with 4 cylinders turbo charge not sure whats the difference
2019 is the new generation of the Altima with a new design, interior, and safety features. I have a video on the 2019 model. ua-cam.com/video/ncP5gdcb6TE/v-deo.html
2019 althought is 4 cilinder has more torque and less fuel consumption. Yes, is more atractive but has the same cvt transmision. Thats the difference.
This is probably going to be an odd question but how would this thing stack up against a 2001 Lincoln Continental(my current car)? Continental has a 4.6 V8 with 275hp. My thoughts are the altima is gonna be way faster
valoguy this car will dust the Lincoln I’ve beaten challenger rts on the highway likes it’s nothing it’s unbelievable powerful
@@montanasosa1420 I just raced and destroyed this 2016 Altima 3.5 in my 2012 Honda Accord V6 coupe automatic. Literally raced him twice last night. I was proud of my Honda but just learned the Altima uses a CVT for their V6s. Not exactly fair. Very nice owner that raced me though.
Sir pls how may kilos or milage take you full tank of ⛽ full pls?
33,000 for nissan altima might as well get it used or get a new infiniti
The 2019 Altima Sl is less
My area has some of the highest auto insurance rates in the country. The insurance rate here for a fully loaded Altima was half as much as for a base model Infinity. It's not just the sticker price that matters.
Very true statement back in the day 1995 you could buy a spanking brand new Altima off showroom for half the price of a modern day Altima
I always compare my boyfriends G to this he gets mad 😂
No point in him getting mad being realistic the Infiniti g is made by Nissan anyway just a different badge there basically the same heritage
@@cedricmiller2167 really not infiniti us rear wear drive doesn't have a cvt transmission either. The driving dynamics are totally different
Is*
@@jamesmyers6739 yea that's true the Infiniti does have the actual 7 speed automatic and the rear wheel drive chassis but I was just stating that there still made by Nissan at the end of the day but it would be nice if Nissan went back to regular transmissions
How’s the MPG?
I get 25-26 and drive a mix of city/hwy. I was getting around 34 in my 2.4L. Worth the upgrade
