    Honestly, I don’t think we’ve seen the end of Elite. This series, I feel is like they’re Ultra, or Hyper. I am interested on trying a couple of these, the prices are very good! Be interesting to see where this goes, thanks for the video.

      I think it is a little different, Ultra failed because it was aimed at older Nerfer because of higher performance but failed to do that. Hyper failed because the Ammo ist to small and easy to lose. In both case there was a problem with the ammot type itself. There ist not a big problem with the dart itself but the problem lies in the market struggle it creates or the lack of it in countries with less competition.

    I've had lots of fun with this! I've experienced occasional darts veering to the right or the left with this blaster in particular. I was skeptical about N-series, but its really growing on me! Also the N1 darts biggest advantage is apparent durability. Awesome review!

    I appreciate your thoughts. I agree that this is a good, casual player/kid blaster. It's not supposed to be for the hobbyists. There is room in the hobby for all of it. Take care.

    I dont understand how you can say this is a significant upgrade when in the same video you said the accustrike darts are still better than these N1 darts? It just confuses me. All they had to do was make better value blasters with accustrike darts, and double your darts. Still feel like people are just being fooled by Hasbro that this was a better casual blaster than something we already had, accustrike.

    • @foamquest
      @foamquest  3 місяці тому +2

      I totally get where you're coming from! What I was trying to convey was the fact that while Nerf accustrike darts are superior when it comes to accuracy. The very design that makes them super accurate hurts their ranges significantly! As a 'standard' or baseline for casual Nerf, I do think ranges are an important factor. When it comes to competitive games, these really shouldn't be considered. (I wouldn't put money on them). But as a fun casual line that doesn't take itself super seriously? Sure! Many people won't want to invest in these (totally cool and expected!). But, I think in a world where everything is really competitive, and more than half of Nerf brand blasters are a resheled unoriginal IP tie-in. I guess this just felt refreshing to me? The line just feels fun! Not competitive, if that makes sense? Maybe they could have made a new dart that was compatible with Elites and paired them with higher powered blasters. But that's not what happened. I guess because these are not meant to be competitive, I wasn't too worried about a new dart to add to all the options we have. Especially because the pricing is not Ultra levels of ridiculous. Ultimately, I think I just like the fact that the N-Series is higher powered and more capable than Elite, yet still fun for the sake of being fun! Not necessarily with peak performance in mind. Just my opinion. I appreciate your comment!

      @adamb416 3 місяці тому +1

      @@foamquest that's an excellent opinion! What about Nerf's (still relatively new) accustrike HALF LINK darts that don't seem to work well in anything other than the Stryfe X??? I mean talk about not selling as much as they should as it is... they should've leaned into making "casual" half link accustrike blasters!!! That, IMO, would've been a home run.

    I hope they decide it was a flop and go back to elite because all elite darts will be useless but more importantly the main thing that hasbros success came from elite/n strike and it will be a sad day when it is completely stripped from all existence but nice video it seems like it works well

    Right so first of all the whole this is a new family friendly thing seems a bit odd to me as you know they 90 fps, or with the agility 88 as an average, also I think it would still hurt getting hit by one of these darts a close range, Another thing is I just don't like the fact that hasbro clearly hasn't learnt from ultra when it comes to making a good new ammo type which this isn't, yes the n1 darts may have more range than elites accuracy is always better in my opinion, When it comes to the blaster itself my opinion is honestly meh not because of how cheap it is but because we've seen it before, Plus I don't think it'll highly moddable as when walcom opened up the infinite on a livestream the other day he found they'd drilled a massive hole through the plunger tube and you couldn't upgrade the spring as it had weird pre compression, so overall im not a big fan of n series mainly because its hasbro once again trying to make people think they're darts are better than other people's by making them proprietary, a weird new length and having stupid dart drm, its a shame that they've killed off the elite dart too, So yeah I think for now I'll steer clear.

    • @foamquest
      @foamquest  3 місяці тому

      The accuracy isn't great, but better than Elite. Of course it's still 8+. That's the whole point. The N-Series isn't supposed to be a pro line. You're right, not at all revolutionary by our competitive standards! But still, I've enjoyed using these blasters! Just my perspective. I appreciate the comment! :)

      @@foamquest there going have to make a design so intriguing for me to pick one up. They should’ve improved the dart. I bet a standard size dart would fire faster than an N series dart out of the same blaster. I’ll wait to see someone mod one to fire elite size darts.
