I had revision (replacement) surgery of a 2008 total knee replacement this morning. I was not mentally ready for the time and effort necessary to beat the pain that goes along with the physical therapy and lengthy recovery. So much so that I considered canceling the surgery up until 2 days before. Then, this video popped up again. Unstoppable became my theme song. I arrived at the hospital at 6 am nervous, but confident. Up and walking 5 hours after surgery and doing great. I know that I will soon be suffering pretty badly, particularly days 3 - 5, but I AM UNSTOPPABLE! Btw, this was my 30th surgery which added to my concerns
For the last 3-4 years, this song has been my theme song. As a kid, I was diagnosed with Autism (My mom was told that I would never graduate high school, I would never go to college and I would never live a normal life). I lost my dad a little over four years ago, I finished my masters right when the pandemic started and it was very hard for me to find work in my field when I moved back home (I considered quitting music at one point). I had revision (replacement) surgery of a 2008 total knee replacement this morning. I was not mentally ready for the time and effort necessary to beat the pain that goes along with the physical therapy and lengthy recovery. So much so that I considered canceling the surgery up until 2 days before. Then, this video popped up again. Unstoppable became my theme song. I arrived at the hospital at 6 am nervous, but confident. Up and walking 5 hours after surgery and doing great. I know that I will soon be suffering pretty badly, particularly days 3 - 5, but I AM UNSTOPPABLE!
Btw, this was my 30th surgery which added to my concerns
For the last 3-4 years, this song has been my theme song. As a kid, I was diagnosed with Autism (My mom was told that I would never graduate high school, I would never go to college and I would never live a normal life). I lost my dad a little over four years ago, I finished my masters right when the pandemic started and it was very hard for me to find work in my field when I moved back home (I considered quitting music at one point). For every opportunity I’ve gotten in my life, I’ve had to fight for it.
I thought I’d never get over my anxiety over 9/11 but it decided to be good on me for once and I came out more powerful than I expected. Even though I wasn’t born for another 9 months yet; it still sickens me what those idiots did. I saw 2 planes today and my god, my chest tightened up because of how low they were because I have an airport nearby. It’s horrible

I see him… I see this pure fire in his eyes lighting up but with time and the illness I see this fire fade slowly while all I can do is watch and not be able to take the pain for him. When he goes back to the hospital when he need care and I’m alone like now , i put this song on and think of him, sing it loud for him. I don’t want the cancer to take him away from me. This song it’s him. They gave him 6 to 12 months to live , 4 years ago.
