Great Video. But you forgot to mention that the traffic is so bad with all the construction. That it use to take me 5 min. from the highway to my house and now that has increased to 30min. and that's every day of the work week not to mention weekends!
Dog friendly beach is Grand Haven City Beach next to the state park.

I must have been there early enough in the day to avoid the traffic. Thanks for letting visitors know it could be an issue!
Why was there no one in the water? Too cold? Thinking of taking the family there in early August.
Water temps should be great in August. This was right after the beach opened in the morning, so not much activity was happening yet.
You're better off going to Grand Haven if you have a dog, pet friendly place and great people.
I took my dog to Oval Beach for many years and it was great!.
