Awesome! Spreading the Olympus M4/3 gospel! hahaha Nature can sometimes bring us closer to the divine, more than anything else. And also helps us to see the divine within ourselves. (so true)
Don't have to sell me, been using Olympus Digital since 2005 with my E500, which I still have :) This is an amazing well put together wildlife video. My hats off to you all! P.S. Downloaded it for future enjoyment :)
Beautifully done folks. I have been using EM1 III with 300mm F4 lens and both TCs plus other lenses like 12-40mm F2.8, 40-150mm F2.8 and the F1.2 set since May 2020. Super happy with the system and look forward to capturing more memorable moments with it - wildlife as well as documentary of my family. Cheers
Excellent video and gorgeous images, Dave. Back around 2005 I drove south from Maine to Georgia and the Florida coast to photograph birds with my Canon DSLRs and 300mm f2.8 lens plus converters, a couple other lenses and a tripod. I had a great time shooting over several weeks. Man, would I love to have that Olympus gear now to recreate the trip. It would be so much lighter and more versatile. I was younger and stronger then and the lighter gear would have helped a lot. Now in my 70s, maybe I should consider another trip. I've got plenty of OMD gear now, just need one or two longer lenses. Your video brought back fond memories!
Very well done video! Too bad only Olympus and Panasonic are pushing "compact and high quality", while alll the other brands are touting "you need a big sensor to get high quality".
Nice video. It looks like David Pardue is a very creative artist, contributing to both the visuals and the music. It would have been nice to see the Olympus 100-400mm featured as well, but I guess this video was targeted towards professionals, not enthusiasts.
What AF mode are you using? You should know multi-point C-AF (3x3, 5x5, 9x9. All) is best for tracking moving subjects, like you'd do with a DSLR. C-AF+Tr is only used for recomposing static scenes.
Michael, try using a Olympus lens and you will see a world of difference in perfomance. I am also going to assume some user error as well, since I have not seen many people not being able to get amazing focus tracking with the same camera as you.
Wow 🤩 well done

Hi Dave . What a beautiful video. So well done.
I recently switched to Olympus and stumbled across your video wow very nicely done you earned a sub
Switching to Olympus from Canon sparked a love for photography that was there but couldn't be ignited to the max... Love this system!
Fantastic photo and video👌
Another wonderful example of documentary style filmmaking with the OMD cameras. I always look forward to an Olympus video. Thanks for making these!
