    OMG !!
    I recently bought a ryobi table saw and it's mitre guage is useless. But after seeing your ideas, I had to subscribe to your blog! Your mitre jig will solve all of my problems with it.
    Any chance you have a good rip fence design?

      Great design! 👍
      I've decided to modify the fence that came with the "POS" ryobi table saw with several layers of high density fiber board since it has 1/4" holes in it I used 1/4-20 X 2" hex bolts and threaded knobs.
      Since I don't have a lot of resources and because I'm confined to a wheelchair, I've got to make do and be a bit more creative.
      Chuckle 😃

      Disagree. I like when people commentate, but there’s a place for these videos where you just watch and learn. I can watch these with the audio off and not disturb others. There are plenty of talking UA-cam woodworkers out there, this fills a niche for another type of video and I love it.

    At 19:06, Why not only one screw and use a wingnut/screw instead. And at 20:05 perhaps wingnut/screws in 2 locations. Also, rotate the oval clamps 180 degrees and fit wingnut/screws. No more tools required.

    • @CraftyDude
      @CraftyDude  3 місяці тому

      Two screws press more space then one and make more friction to hold jig in place. Well with wingnut/screw you will avoid hex key, its good idea
