"Graystripe... You need to sleep." A gentle voice sounded. Turning slightly, the gray elder met the dark tabby's eyes. "I will in a bit, Bramblestar. I just... Wanted to be closer to my friends for a few minutes. I won't be long." He whispered, gaze returning to the flickering lights. Bramblestar padded closer, sitting beside the former deputy. "You're missing them, too... Aren't you?" The leader asked softly, his own orbs on the stars. Graystripe nodded. "I... I just can't believe I'm all that's left of the five of us. Firestar, Sandstorm, Ravenpaw, Dustpelt... They're all gone." Graystripe mumbled, his voice choked with sadness. "It is. They were all so important to this Clan- no, ALL the Clans. They were always be remembered. All of them will be remembered for the rest of time... As will you." Graystripe's eyes flickered towards the tabby, his expression somber. "I doubt that, my boy. I won't be remembered." He stated sadly, shaking his head. Bramblestar nudged the elder, his expression disappointed. "Don't speak such nonsense. You were -- and ARE -- an essential part of ThunderClan. You brought with you hope and courage. You proved that father's have a part in their kits' lives. "You mean so much to this Clan, and you always will." Graystripe let out a soft chuckle, shouldering the younger male affectionately. "Thank you, Bramblestar. You know how to cheer up your clanmates, even an old badger like me. I'm glad I was able to watch you grow into the fine leader you are today." Graystripe smiled, tears appearing at the corners of his eyes. Bramblestar was momentarily caught offguard. Then he gave his chest fur a couple of embarrassed licks, straightening up. "Don't talk like that! You have many, many more moons ahead of you!" He stated firmly. Again, the old tom laughed warmly. "Whatever you say, Bramble." Getting to his paws, the elder padded slowly towards the Elders' Den. "Goodnight, my friend." He called over his shoulder. Bramblestar waved his tail back. "Goodnight, Graystripe." ... As he buried his face into the elder's thicker pelt, a lone sob wracked his body. "I miss you, too." He trembled, pulling away from the tom. Moving closer, he laid on Graystripe, the way he had when they were apprentices. The other two left, Sandstorm and Dustpelt, glanced at eachother. They knew the separated trio were close. After a few minutes of this, Dustpelt padded to his brother. Curling up against Ravenpaw, he looked at Graystripe for a long moment. "We were never all-too-close, my friend, but... You saved my brother. I never got to thank you for that." The brown warrior murmured, curling his tail around Graystripe's. As he closed his eyes, the final StarClan warrior padded closer. I'm sorry I couldn't have kept you company longer than I did. I miss you dearly, and I wished we'd been closer as apprentices and young warriors. "I wish I could have been there for you when you'd been taken away by twolegs, and I wish I could have helped you more than I did. I regret how little time we were friends, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. "Thank you for being the cat you are, Graystripe. You're a noble cat, and you deserve long, leisurely life in the Elders' Den. We miss you, and we all wait for you to join us." She choked. I cant believe graystripe is the last of the original three... when he dies the Fandom will either explode in rage, or go silent in mourning. those tree are who many fans grew up with, and those three are the characters I'm still living my childhood with. I feel bad for graystripe, first silverstream died after not knowing him for very long, then he was forced to either give up his kits, or go to riverclan and lose everything he loved, then when he came back he learned that his brother was a traitor, and was forced to kill him in the battle with bloodclan, then after that he learned that after all his efforts for his kits to live a good life feathertail had died, then graystripe was captured by twolegs but also got a mate. after that briarlight was squished by a tree, and then finally he watched all his best friends die slowly, and was forced out of grief to retire. graystripe really didn't deserve all that

This is very sad i feel really sorry for greystripe knowing his 2 best friends are gone and he has put up with a lot of stuff in his life,i'm sure when he dies and goes to starclan the 3 will meet up and be the 3 musketeers again.
When Graystripe dies there should be a scene where he wakes up in Starclan and is surrounded by everyone in his life (Lionheart,Firestar,Ravenpaw,Dustpelt,Sandstorm,Silverstream,Feathertail)

Poor Graystripe. Even after reading the final book of Omen of the Stars, I was wondering how he feels that his best friends, and his love of his life, are dead. He may not know about Ravenpaw, since it'd be kinda hard to get messages over such a distance, but I hope he passes to Starclan in a way most fitting to such a great, strong character.

I realized like as soon as you were coloring in Graystripe that this was the original three and i just started crying because it brought back all the feelings I have about this series. Brb gotta go read and cry now.
Just to inform everyone, Brackenfur was mentioned as one of the stolen kits in book 1, but was not mentioned by name. Graystripe is in fact not the only cat still living since book one, because Brackenfur was born in book one, thus making him alive the entire series. I feel for both characters, because they lived long and lost everything. They both deserve to live long, and someday die with honor, reunited with all they had once lost. Good Speed Paint, keep up the good work. :^)
This is like one of those really heartfelt moments when you just remember all those good times with your old friends, but then they all moved away. It just reminds me of my friends, Addison and Chloe. They were such good friends. They may be away from my sight, but never my heart.
I feel bad for Graybae his best friends are gone. When I read about Firestar's death I was like meh, but Ravenpaw's made me almost cry he was my fav character.

This touched my heart so much! It reminded me when ravenpaw, greystripe and fireheart had to say goodbye to each other when ravenpaw went to live with Barley on the twoleg farm. So touching!
For me, the most heartbreaking part of this speedpaint is that for every cat from the original series who dies it feels like I'm losing an old friend. I grew up with these books and read the first 6 books over and over because I loved them so much. The clan members from the first 6 books feel like family to me. Greystripe is one of the last few of that family. Its hard knowing one day they will all be gone. I wish I could express my thanks to the Erin's for creating these books. They mean so much to me.

When I first started the books I was going to a new school, and I didn’t really have any friends and I didn’t talk much. These three where like friends to me. When I read that Ravenpaw died of cancer I cried. When Firestar collapsed, even though he had fulfilled his destiny and done everything right the way it was meant to be, I cried.
We need a novella when Graystripe goes to Starclan. Not just him dying. Him *IN* starclan *WITH* the others. I always wondered how starclan works...this would be a good opportunity to actually have a book about STARCLAN and not any of the "regular" clans. Am I the only one who wants an arc with Starclan?

I am so greatful for the day in which i picked up a Warriors book for the very first time and dropped everything else I was reading because to me nothing compares to Warriors! They are literally the core of my purpose in life right now and I am so agitated and miserable when I have to wait for the next book for a long period of time.

when graystripe dies, I think he's gonna either be leader, or die saving all the clans or suing for thunderclan saving his kits and making Millie relise they're worth it would neat if he and briarlight snuck out of camp and then there's a fire, and gray stripe on his journey with Millie saw firefighters and graystripe and Millie run off and find firefighters and graystripe leads them back to the lake and they save them but like the Erin add a twist like, sol comes when graystripes lost and they fight. graystripe nearly killing sol but he is taken by twolegs or something and g raystripes comes back collapsing dramatically and he sees her unconscious from the smoke and he crawls over to next to her and the graystripe whispers something to her along with Millie And he says his final words to the clan and dies. briar light dies too maybe.. it would be sweet.

Greystripe has always been my absolute favourite, I love him and he can never die.
I cant believe graystripe is the last of the original three... when he dies the Fandom will either explode in rage, or go silent in mourning. those tree are who many fans grew up with, and those three are the characters I'm still living my childhood with. I feel bad for graystripe, first silverstream died after not knowing him for very long, then he was forced to either give up his kits, or go to riverclan and lose everything he loved, then when he came back he learned that his brother was a traitor, and was forced to kill him in the battle with bloodclan, then after that he learned that after all his efforts for his kits to live a good life feathertail had died, then graystripe was captured by twolegs but also got a mate. after that briarlight was squished by a tree, and then finally he watched all his best friends die slowly, and was forced out of grief to retire. graystripe really didn't deserve all that
Jay lion and Dove may have been the three prophecized heroes, but these three made the biggest impact.

Poor Graystripe. Even after reading the final book of Omen of the Stars, I was wondering how he feels that his best friends, and his love of his life, are dead. He may not know about Ravenpaw, since it'd be kinda hard to get messages over such a distance, but I hope he passes to Starclan in a way most fitting to such a great, strong character.

Ok to be honest, I liked these three better then the newer cats. I think they should've ended the series at the last hope. Its not the same without these three. These guys are the whole reason why I got into Warriors in the first place. And Ravenpaw was probably my favorite.

I realized like as soon as you were coloring in Graystripe that this was the original three and i just started crying because it brought back all the feelings I have about this series. Brb gotta go read and cry now.
Just to inform everyone, Brackenfur was mentioned as one of the stolen kits in book 1, but was not mentioned by name. Graystripe is in fact not the only cat still living since book one, because Brackenfur was born in book one, thus making him alive the entire series. I feel for both characters, because they lived long and lost everything. They both deserve to live long, and someday die with honor, reunited with all they had once lost. Good Speed Paint, keep up the good work. :^)
This is like one of those really heartfelt moments when you just remember all those good times with your old friends, but then they all moved away. It just reminds me of my friends, Addison and Chloe. They were such good friends. They may be away from my sight, but never my heart.
I feel bad for Graybae his best friends are gone. When I read about Firestar's death I was like meh, but Ravenpaw's made me almost cry he was my fav character.
This made me cry so much.. This is what I adored most in the first books. I adored their friendship and the hardships they went through together. This really breaks my heart! You did an awesome job, keep up the good work. You definitely earned a new subscriber now ;)

This touched my heart so much! It reminded me when ravenpaw, greystripe and fireheart had to say goodbye to each other when ravenpaw went to live with Barley on the twoleg farm. So touching!
For me, the most heartbreaking part of this speedpaint is that for every cat from the original series who dies it feels like I'm losing an old friend. I grew up with these books and read the first 6 books over and over because I loved them so much. The clan members from the first 6 books feel like family to me. Greystripe is one of the last few of that family. Its hard knowing one day they will all be gone. I wish I could express my thanks to the Erin's for creating these books. They mean so much to me.

this actually made me cry. Warriors cats was childhood book for me and even though I new Graystripe was the last one of the group left. I had not fully realized it. This was doo good
I started crying when I watched this. I practically grew up knowing and loving these three. I couldn't finish reading ravenpaw's farewell because I started crying. Thank you for this wonderful speedpaint that warmed so many older warrior fans hearts.

I love these three as friends. When I first started the books I was going to a new school, and I didn’t really have any friends and I didn’t talk much. These three where like friends to me.
When I read that Ravenpaw died of cancer I cried. When Firestar collapsed, even though he had fulfilled his destiny and done everything right the way it was meant to be, I cried.

We need a novella when Graystripe goes to Starclan. Not just him dying. Him *IN* starclan *WITH* the others. I always wondered how starclan works...this would be a good opportunity to actually have a book about STARCLAN and not any of the "regular" clans. Am I the only one who wants an arc with Starclan?

I am so greatful for the day in which i picked up a Warriors book for the very first time and dropped everything else I was reading because to me nothing compares to Warriors! They are literally the core of my purpose in life right now and I am so agitated and miserable when I have to wait for the next book for a long period of time.
It's sad when they die but it's cute when they all gather in the StarClan.

when graystripe dies, I think he's gonna either be leader, or die saving all the clans or suing for thunderclan saving his kits and making Millie relise they're worth
it would neat if he and briarlight snuck out of camp and then there's a fire, and gray stripe on his journey with Millie saw firefighters and graystripe and Millie run off and find firefighters and graystripe leads them back to the lake and they save them but like the Erin add a twist like, sol comes when graystripes lost and they fight. graystripe nearly killing sol but he is taken by twolegs or something and g raystripes comes back collapsing dramatically and he sees her unconscious from the smoke and he crawls over to next to her and the graystripe whispers something to her along with Millie
And he says his final words to the clan and dies. briar light dies too maybe.. it would be sweet.
