    What an honor it is to see and hear Hitchens discuss these grave matters at 7-11.

    It's crazy to think that there was a time a person could have gone and seen Christopher Hitchens speak in front of magazines and a Snapple vending machine, and even have the opportunity to ask his great mind a question.

    The location is Olsson’s Books and Records in Old Town, Alexandria, Va. Olsson’s had several locations in the DC area. It went out of business in September 2009, about four years after this event, and was liquidated in bankruptcy court.

    This breaks my heart to see Hitch treated to such abysmal surroundings. Whoever set this up should be ashamed of themselves. He deserves concert halls, ballrooms, not whatever that mess is.

      Rather I think, it was that he could be eloquent in the street or crowded mart hall just as easily as in the hall and ballroom.

    The way Hitchens glosses over Jefferson the fiendishly cruel rapist is really disgusting. He didn't have a "relationship" with her- HE RAPED HER. He tortured the Hemmings family with unspeakable indifference and horribly BLACKMAILED Sally over the custody of their children Jefferson was a mind-boggling hypocrite and I've always wondered if Hitchens admires him partially as way of excusing his own sexism. I admire much about Hitchens but the blind hero worship of him is not deserved.

    • @kevinchambers1101
      @kevinchambers1101 11 місяців тому

      There is no evidence that Jefferson had any relationship with Sally. There isn't any DNA evidence that proves it. You're a typical mindless liberal who cares nothing about facts. Just go away.
