Thank you so much for bringing this to us....one of my favourite tv programmes was Time Team so this is so really 'up my street'....can you find a way to bring Time Team back with up to date insights on the histories about what you uncover....Love from Scotland

@@Digventures Thanks for the Video, as Tasmanians we loved our two day stay at Holy Island in October, and I've been on the look-out ever since for your video finds. You didn't mention the age of those skeletons, apart from their current age ie 10 years of age etc., or young adults.

Did the monks after Ragnar lothbrooks raid build Durham cathedral. Considering a monk from lindersfarne was taken to Norway later to return home .

Is it possible that the people from the west of Scotland were monks, and the poor nutrition was the result of voluntary fasting? The Lindisfarne monastery was founded by monks from western Scotland and the Hebrides.

What happened to Rest In Peace? Why can’t you leave these poor souls be? I plan to have myself buried with a curse for whomever distressed me.

They're trying to learn about them and their lives. They don't want them and their wonderful stories to be forgotten and lost in time. I doubt they'll treat them particularly disrespectfully. I'd rather be learned about and have people proud and fascinated by me than be forgotten and unloved.

Time to start explaining why the Vikings began raiding Xtian sites .... Questions such as which 'tribe' of Vikings, why not earlier ...much earlier as Vikings hadnt raided up till then and why a warrior raid would loose dignity by killing pacifistic monks.
My opinion is that the behaviour of Charlemegne gave Christianity a bad name ....his genociding and large scale massacres of Pagans may be relevant.
