- Jumping into Varlamore for the first time, I wanted to try out Hunter's Rumours. I was halving such a good time I ended up staying for 300 master loot sacks and gained over 4 million Hunter xp.

I havent played Runescape in years but i still enjoy watching vids about it. Your one of the best Runescape youtubers imo. Too many focus on being best and most xp/hour when you focus on most fun/hour. Keep it up

the drop rates are a lot lower than I expected considering I've definitely gone like 100 dry for the item for hunter's rumors multiple times

To update your inventory setups easily (Like the enhanced quetzal whistle to perfected), you can shift-right-click the item, and select "update ALL slots" which will change that particular item to the new one in every inventory setup :)

My GIM partner got all pieces of the outfit in under 40. Never been so envious of a team mate.

FYI with inventory setups, you can ctrl shift click the item in the plug in to update all inventory sets which have the item - great for irons who upgrade a slot for example d defender to avernic defender
The moonlight moths, if you use a piece of raw hunter meat on them, you get a 2 dose 22 point prayer potion. Been using them for slayer tasks left and right to save ppots on stuff that need more prayer points
This episode was a fun change of pace
Quetzal whistle takes you closer to the herb patch than the cape or the fairy ring, only use I’ve found for it so far
Whenever I try and get back into osrs I get overwhelmed with all the new stuff
Its funny how you can use the whistle teleport indoors, like how did the bird manage to get inside b r u h

It's been quite funny hearing people saying things like:

Use the sunfire antler with a hunter crosssbow to make sunfire crossbow and it’s a great budget blowpipe for mid level irons. I use it all the time for crap slayer tasks.
With pyrefox fur, the feed bags you make can alch for 2k each, so another thing you can alch while waiting on them :)
Ahhh you’ve gotta love a boss that drops gear to make fighting that boss easier.
I recall making a bunch of people on the Discord I'm on for OSRS mildly frustrated when I spooned the Hunter Kit on my first Rumour 🤣
It's such a convenient thing to have though since it lets you dump all your hunter gear into a single slot

The first day I got pure foxes a few times and the drop rate seemed pretty good once I found an open rock. I didn’t do them for a week or so and the drop rate seemed terrible. Idk if they adjusted it or it was just bad rng. I usually skip them now if the other expert rumor option is any better

I never realized how spooned mudkip was at herbiboars! I'm at almost 5800 herbiboars and still pet hunting. I know I'm not even at drop rate yet but I'm almost 3x what mudkip got it at!

@@WildMudkip I'm really sad there were so few tickets as well. I tried getting tickets as well and just couldn't get it. Keep us informed if they do release more tickets although I will be looking out for them.
I got the pet at 50kc. Went to 100 rumors and didnt see anything else 😂

I did almost 100 rumours before drop rates came out. When they did come out, and I saw I have 0 uniques and a more than 99.9% chance unlikelihood of being that dry, I had to take a break lmao. Fine fine I’ll go back to it. Always the next drop.
Best use of chins on an iron that actually gets you drops and isn't mm2 bursting?
Temple spiders or dusties are fine
You can also use them to fight Armadyl by targeting the minion with low range defence.

Why are expert rumours the meta? I just finished 91-99 hunter all on masters lol.
I heard that with a proper block list it's more rumours/hr. And pet is the same rate from expert and master

I have no idea, i was doing 12-15 rumours an hour doing masters with a proper block list, just about 150k xp/h. Can't see experts being much faster. Maybe a bit considering kebbit skips but 2 separate chin tasks is puke
@@loveless9349 With a proper block list you can get 4/7 kebbit rumours and do around 20 rumours/hr with experts. If you have herbi pet, it's 100% the way to go.

I don't usually think content creators should get special treatment from jagex, but popular streamers/UA-camrs should be given priority for runefest. It will just add to the experience for the average attending person to meet their favorite creators.
Oh yeah I should've explained it more. They do have a pretty long list of creators they reserved tickets for which I'm on, but spookdog isn't on the list. So I'm not gonna go on one of her dream trips without her

The varlamore update could've been much better if they spent a little more time and resources on QA.. I feel like all of the changes that they made were axiomatically needed if one had stepped through any of the content.
