ফেনীর পরশুরাম ও ফুলগাজীতে অবিরাম বৃষ্টি ও ভারতের পাহাড়ি ঢলের পানিতে বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকা প্লাবিত হয়েছে। প্লাবিত হয়েছে ৭৫টি গ্রাম। মাত্র দেড় মাসের মধ্যে তিন বার বন্যার কবলে পড়েছে এই জেলা। মুহুরী, কহুয়া ও সিলোনীয়া নদীর পানি বিপৎসীমার ৫৫ সেমি ওপর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে। নোয়াখালী ফেনী-পরশুরাম সড়কের কয়েকটি স্থান কোমরসমান পানিতে তলিয়ে সড়ক যোগাযোগ বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। বেড়িবাঁধের ১২টি স্থান ভেঙ্গে কতটা ভয়ংকর হয়ে উঠছে ফেনীর বন্যা
