I am 69 years old and I wore Prescriptives Custom Blend foundation and powder from the 1980s until the company went out of business in stores. In fact I loved the entire Prescriptives makeup line. I was so mad when the company went out of business. It was the best makeup line that I have ever used. In 2024 I mostly use drugstore makeup. The drugstore has really improved in recent years. I am glad to see a black, older woman on UA-cam. As I have aged my makeup routine has definitely changed.

Rinse your face with cool to just warm water, and pat dry good luck I hope that helps

This list is THE holy grail! That exfoliating matters. I even began removing the peach fuzz after going to an aesthetician. Also that damp beauty sponge matters so so much. I find myself using less foundation these days but that damp beauty blender really helps my under eye concealer. Last but not least, the cream items definitely help for aging skin. A great exfoliator is refined cornmeal and ground cinnamon powder mixed with a little warm water. Finish off with a coffee mask made with instant coffee mixed with almond oil. Let it Sit for an hour and rinse with warm water then cold water. Just turns 50 and have great skin
