I LOVE YOU MATT HARNACKE YOU ARE AN AWSOME MAN AND I REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDIEO LIKE THE SABBLE BARN TOUR THE 1 ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😎😎😍😍😎😎😎😎😎😎😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
i really liked this. i feel like a lot of how to videos on teaching horses tricks on youtube are with a horse that already knows the trick, so it was really cool to see you teach a horse that didn't know the trick yet. showed your methods actually work!
I always use a whip because I'm tiny and I don't really wanna take a guess on if the horse will accept my arm as a boundary. Most don't so I just gotta extend my arm a bit :D
Dear Jesse, I found your and Matt's channels some time ago but I started to watch your videos recently... And I really love your attitude. I respect people who treats animals with love and honor. A real crystal. ~Maddie
Jesse, you are a horse whisperer in your own right! And handsome too. 😋 You encourage people to build a trusting friendship with the horses. The idea of master and animal servants... this past time idea is old fashioned. You teaching a new path forward. Thank You.
Love your "how to videos" Please do more! When I was a kid we had ponies that we got to climb up on large picnic tables. Horses will do almost anything when they trust you. Your so very sweet with them, thanks for sharing.
You make it look so easy, 🙂🙏🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎 your one of those special people that have love and patience with horses, you can see they love you back ❤️😍🙂🙏🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎💕
You're SO patient & encouraging to the horse. I am of very small statue (5'0" /152.4 cm 95 lbs./42.63 kg) & have a BAD back. I would like to teach my mare to get down so I can get on her without the traditional mount. Please show a video on how to teach a horse to do that. She & I have a good relationship.
Jesse , you are so right ! It’s really Fun and Rewarding to accomplish new tricks and tasks With your horse. Great work Jesse . Future Champions Right here . Best wishes all the way from Canada
When my horse was very young he was scared of the world. Thought everything was going to kill him. We taught him to stand on his "mark" , same as this . And he was so proud of himself when he worked it out and loved doing it. It made such a difference to his confidence with the world in general . We ended getting to him having all four legs standing on a platform. 😁
This is awesome. I love that horse, I hope you will have future videos showing his progress in other training. Best of luck to you in all your adventures.
Really nice Tutorial 😀 Even my pony is already able to go on the pedestal it was so interesting to see how the horses mood changed from scared to happy😊
I've tried to teach my Icelandic gelding to stand on the pedestal for almost 4 years now, he's just afraid of anything... but maybe it'll work with your approach, I'll try for sure!
I loved this!! I love the whole process of trick training and how kind your perspective on it is, wanting nothing but the best for the horse's comfort! Very keen to give this a go! :)
Took me several weeks to pedestal train my horse. I had to start him on a single board and gradually work the height up to the pedestal. Once he did it though, he didn't hesitate. I was so proud of him
Love that horse!!!! He so pretty and very alert! Thank you for this video love it .. though I’m probably not gonna be doing this but who knows we might just for fun since we don’t do shows
It's so crazy that your horse is scared of the little Pedestal xD ! We had a storm a few days ago and a huge trampoline flys at our riding area. Yesterday I wont to do (the first time) really Liberty with my horse and the horse of a friend. They don't really look at it although it was really strange for them that a trampoline was there :O
Have you ever thought of clicker training? If you're not familiar with it, there's tons of books and net sites for how to do it. Basically you're fist teaching them that the sound of a clicker means reward, and after that you can use the sound as a reward, and then you don't have to hurry with the treat, because they already know they are gonna get it. The point is you can easily reward them at the exactly right moment and that makes learning easy for them. It takes more time to start than if you help them by guiding, the basic idea is that they figure out themselves what is expected from them. First you reward every time they look at the step, then coming closer to it, then moving their foot a little, more and more until they step on it etc. for example. I use it a lot with trick training different animals, I love to see how they "learn to learn" and think what it might be what is wanted from them, and sometimes they suggest funny weird things before figuring out. It really keeps them active and thinking, while they learn, once they've got used to it. I don't use it always and not in everyday things, but in case it's something new for you (I don't know how much people do it with horses), it may be something you might like, so that's why the suggestion. If you've already tried or otherwise familiar with it and felt it's not your thing, just forget what I wrote.
Super leerzame video jes! Deze video laat me echt denken aan toen ik de paardjes in Noorwegen op het blok leerde te staan en ze er vervolgens niet meer af wouden of random zonder dat ik het vroeg er op gingen staan😂 good memories💛
Your method of training is amazing! You put the horses needs before anything else, if only everyone could treat horses the way you do the world would be a better place ❤️
Yes I know that and I' ve been traning my horses libery for 4years now and I know what I'm doing it's just that I can't teach one of my horses to rear so I'm looking for an advice.
This definitely worked for Chase... not that he wasn’t tall enough already 😂
and even with his height he probably loved the view, way up there. :P haha... my mini was really happy to be able to look over the scary fence.. :')
Matt Harnacke , Chase always wants to show you
That ur his ONE and Only ! Trusting you. Matt you

Rearing is very dangerous
