I actually met Mr. Orsoni when my daughter was stationed in Aviano, Italy and only because I saw him in a documentary on tv so I had it on my to-do list when we were in Venice. I had absolutely no idea about anything mosiac. Unfortunately, I did not absorb and appreciate the tour we were given and seeing the beautiful mosaics that were on display.☹️☹️☹️
I’m sure it was a different time in your life. I used to live in St. Louis where the Cathedral Basilica is covered in mosaics. I even took my kids there when they were small to see the workshop in the basement and the mosaics. But I certainly did not absorb and properly appreciate what we were looking at! I was probably more concerned about lunch and nap time!
@@mazzonimosaics8222 I was probably thinking about our lunch too, lol! But thankfully I have been able to learn from you as you are a great teacher! I flew into Atlanta a few months ago and was picked up by my daughter that lives in Alabama but I’d sure like to be able to take a class with you in the future. Are your class schedules on your website?
I love the mandala project! What materials are you using to mount everything? I’m a beginner and I am curious about all the different materials you use for substrate and prepping to hang things later.
Wow. That backyard mosaic is looking snazzy. Look at all those happy creatures dancing on the lawn!
Artistic license!
I absolutely love your work!! My dream would be taking a class from you! So glad I found you!!
Thank you so much!
Good Morning!

Another great video and enjoy seeing all your pieces developing. :)
Thank you Peter!

We used Wediwashers and screwed multiple places on each one into the wall. We also secured with thinset.
