After my recent ladakh trip, my respect for biharis has grown immensely. They can be seen everywhere in that cold desert, in such isolated conditions, they work so hard to keep the roads on high mountains, motorable!! Kudos
I won’t be able to thank you enough, Ravi ji as when you mentioned Akbarpur / Sultanpur it bought back so many good memories from as far as 7800 kms.. (It’s where I am at the moment ) It’s where my father was born and studied and we used to go there during our summer school breaks. I saw few trucks coming on opposite direction and a scooter crossing across near the plane runway stretch. Hope these are due to the construction of the amenities, else could be dangerous for the travellers. Also allowing 2 whellers in 6 lane e way is a safety risk . E-way exit to buxar to Patna strech looks terrible. Anyway kudos for UP to become e-way capital of India.

Akhilesh yadav 5 saal me 8 kilometers lamba metro banate hain aur yogi 2 saal me us metro ko 25 kilometers ka kr dete hain. Isliye vote daalte time in points ko dhyan rakhiega.
13:21 - your wife raised an absolute valid point. Due to monotonicity, there are crashes on expressways. Drivers often fall asleep and thus the car climbs on the side girders. Witnessed couple infront of my eyes.

I have observed that Idea of Driving on expressway is really new for Indians. They Don't maintain adequate speed 90/100kmph "as average speed. Either they drive really slow at 70/80kmph or really fast 140/150kmph on expressways. They take unnecessary frequent stops on emergency shoulder lane. They don't use indicator while changing lane. They don't stay in one lane. IT SHOULDNT TAKE MORE THAN 4HRS TO COVER 340KMS DISTANCE
I agree with most of your points. But again if the rest stops are 50 to 100 kms away people will obviously use emergency lane for stops. On a lighter note most of us even don't know that the last lane is only for emergency stop 😀 But I hope with construction of more expys may be some good habits will develop over time.

Outside India ..... in North America/Australia you would find service areas/ Onroutes at every 50 or more than 50kms. If one is driving at the speed of 100kmph. Then you can easily cover 50kms in half an hour. So it shouldn't be a big problem. Like I said earlier. People in India are not well trained for Expressways. They drive really slow at 70/80kmph. Most Trucks even go slower at 60/70kmph on Expressways In North America Trucks move at an "average" speed of 90kmph. They easily cover 400 kms in approx 5 hrs. BREAKS Hrs included

Even having a good state highway is a big deal as can be seen in some parts of the country. But its improving fast. Buxar to Patna leg , pure trip ka maza kharab kar deti hai. I doubt buxar patna 4 lane will be completed anytime soon. Better to take Lucknow gorakpur gopalgunj muzaffarpur route to reach patna.

Yesterday travelled Lucknow to Patna in just 6 hours, I was unsure about the road conditions from Expressway end to Patna that's why completed Purvanchal Expressway in just 3 hours after reaching Buxar I was astonished to see a four lane beautiful highway till Patna, now I think Lucknow to Patna is too comfortable journey, before 30 kms from Patna it was some traffic but at 4 am it doesn't create panic for me, at Buxar I saw one of broadest size of mighty Ganga river

They are custom made headlamps. I got them installed at a hyundai showroom in Patna. I had to give my original headlamps in exchange. Cost was 30,000. Hid bulb and relay used of Genome brand.

@@PankajKumar-nr1fy Now thats the tricky part. Road condition is average to bad specially buxar ara stretch. If you travel this stretch during day time it may take around 5 hrs. Purvanchal eway is really fantastic to drive. Buxar to Patna 4 lane will take some time as things move very slow in Bihar.
