Monday Dec 18: What a timely podcast for me. A week ago tomorrow I received via FedEx, my first Leonardo, my first J. Brooks resin, gold furniture, #053, my first pen purchased from Appelboom! The Leonardo Supernova 2023 Bohemian Twilight. Beautiful!! It shows no sign of wear, in spite of my many times daily examining it, caressing it, uncapping and capping it, ha,ha. With this Supernova I have started a new tradition of buying a birthday present in advance for myself. I am waiting until the evening of the 31st, when I complete my 81st circuit of the Sun, to ink the pen and write with it for the first time. Thanks to the Leonardo team, and Johnathan for this beautiful pen. Kudos to Joost and the entire Appellboom crew for a hassle free, pleasurable retail experience and pen delivery within the promised time frame. I’ll think of you all on New Year’s Eve. All the best.
