In this vlog, I show you what keeps Laragh functioning during the cold months and how I try and make the most of the cold, dark, never ending dreary days. I'm also giving you the FIRST LOOK of what I feed her, and my now not-so-secret, secret ingredient to keep the weight on.

The string is a stuff of legend. If you get it right the string should undo and the bag opens, not rips... just opens. I’ve only ever managed to do it once in ten years. Top tier feeling. Like when the scissors start to glide. You know what I mean
I enjoy learning how other horses do with the change of seasons. Every horse is different and depending in what part of the world the seasons occur. I have to chuckle abit when you give your current temperature. I pull out my phone and access my "conversion" app for Celcius to Fahrenheit. I do understand the climate difference but winter temps for me, sometimes go as low as - 17°F (-27° C). So one can imagine, not much winter riding here. Very glad to endorse Linseed. A very ancient, excellent supplement, if not over done. I Love how you, the Girls and probably most British horse owners are sensitive to the smallest of things regarding the comfort and well being of your equine (and all animals: Wild & domestic) partners. Have a safe and enjoyable hack. ☺
My pony with ems loves these swingers!! You have to be careful they can’t pin them against a wall though or they will demolish it in half an hour 😂😂🙈
I bought Pedro one of the Silver Moor stocking bundles for his Christmas. He loves the treats, but was not at all interested in the swingers! I left one in his stable for two days and he never touched it other than giving it a sniff! Typical! So I’ve donated them all to a girl on the yard who’s horse is on box rest.
Wish we could get those swingers in Australia ! Our wet weather is awful at the moment !

My horse ate his swinger in about 30 mins!! His nickname is Hippo as he’s always hungry 😋🤣 he loved it though!!

Maybe it's just too early in the morning at the moment but I spent the entirety of the swinger section of the video visualising my behemoth scoffing a swinger. He doesn't understand that hefty 16.2hh horses aren't supposed to be greedy.
😂 To be fair Laragh is greedy and it lasts her a long while! But maybe she doesn’t quite have the knack 😂

You really help to keep me smiling especially you beautiful horses. I see from this vlog that you are as much a whizz in feeding them as you are at feeding the VE Squad. my gelding is the most wettest on the yard he needs a new bed everyday i love fluffy beds aswell and he in on straw!!!! so it gets so annoying but i love him so its worth it?!!!!!!!
