- Y’all lovely people know I always do blind reactions... well. 🤦🏼♀️ I listened to the Bastia performance! I’ll just have to react to the Gakku one as well! When I finished filming and realized my error I was like, you know what this is still an unbelievable performance so we’re KEEPING IT. 😂 I hope you all enjoy a reaction to a “less often reacted to” performance that is truly great from our Dimash!

You should still do the Gakku version with the D8,hewrote this beautiful song in his teens. I am always impressed with how he can get abuse stadium to go totally silent, you can hear apin drop until he finishes and they all go crazy 🤩💖 no fear of heights, he often abseil from the roof into his concerts, he is a daredevil 😀 look into Durdaraz from his New York concert for Rockstar Dimash, its a Kazakh folk song hard Rock style 🤪💖 he has different backup singers now and they are incredible 😘

Angel, don't worry about the error! This reaction was great! I found interesting that information about the movements while singing. By the way, on July 1st Dimash got his Master degree in composition and his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music" 👏👏👏Now he is ready to enter a Doctorate Program 🌹🌹

it is correct, Dimash was 19 when he wrote the music, the lyrics were written by a friend of the family, Olzhas Baysingir, based upon some talks with D. to better put his feelings into words. cheers from Vienna!

I'm still intrigued by the nature of this song, it has such a particular atmosphere like no other Dimash song or any other song I've heard.. Its like an anthem or a singalong but there's a unique vibe from Dimash.. Its feels nostalgic there's something of the past, is it a childhood feeling.. I'm intrigued and of course I love it..
That’s Dimash. His voice also can bring out a certain ‘feeling’ of the song. From the battle rouse in Ogni Piettra to crying child in Daybreak, from space travelling in Across Endless Dimensions to an ancient China in Thousand Miles.
"He needs to do a reaction to one of his own videos" is possibly the most brilliant thing I've ever heard on UA-cam.

Vocal range and style
His sung range expands 6 octaves and 2 semitones, from C2 to C6 to F♯6 and, finally, D8.
However his known range was a little more than 6 octaves, it’s now almost 7.
In Dimash’s case it was even confirmed. A popular Turkish vocal coach, Emre Yücelen, once analysed Dimash and said he must have longer vocal folds than usual.. he, then, once visited Dimash in Kazakhstan and directly asked him if he had longer vocal folds and Dimash said yes.
Here’s also an American voice teacher, Mary Zimmer, talking about Dimash, his range and the anatomy his vocal folds must have:
Phenomenal singer btw. He’s not only about range, his skill level is immensely high, he has such a precise technique, is amazingly versatile (he sings in several different genres and uses styles and techniques of pretty much all genres), and he still does a great job in conveying emotion in his performances. Many vocal pedagogues call him best singer in the world. His range is not his most important feature, but of course it’s a nice plus.

I've seen clips of Dimash watching himself- he's mostly analysing, looking for his mistakes. He happens to be his biggest critic. A voice teacher said that his staccati a really clean because he uses his diaphragm and not his vocal cords, dunno if that's plausible but maybe it might help
He’s a true musician! Yes most trained singers use their diaphragm when singing those rapid fire staccati but even still his accuracy is really insane
@@AngelAzzarraOpera It's just practice I guess? He loves staccato and does it for fun ( even during a break or 3hr concert). We joke that he eats staccato for breakfast
Laugh, I think there are worse things for us fans than hearing Dimash several times with the same song, especially since he often sings songs differently. We'll see how you like the Gakku version.
Thank you for your reaction to Unforgettable day at Bastau concert! His performances of Unforgettable Day are different. When he decides to include a whistle, it's most often in the 7th octave, only at Gakku Festival he sang D8. The Bastau performance has no whistle, he sings the staccato part instead. This performance is memorable, because it is the only one, where the story of the song (meeting the girl, then the separation) is presented visually.

Did anyone else hear that at like 950. When he threw the mic away from him basically, he hit his high note that we were expecting from the other concert
Angel, I'm glad you went ahead and posted your blind reaction even after you realized it wasn't the D8 performance. A lot of other reactors wouldn't upload it, then they'd do the "right" performance and pretend they'd never heard the song before. I appreciate your integrity. It's pretty interesting, his dad songs in a very nasal voice and sometimes in can hear his dad's voice when he sings. There are videos of his parents singing together and separately and you can totally see his direct influences. He has the best of both of them.

Dimash is 26 yrs old I believe...has been doing this since he was 5...he is currently working on his doctoral degree in Music...He is THE best singer in the world...he knows what he is doing!

Angel is one of the BEST reactors on line. I watch for her probably before anyone else. She give so much information in such an easy way for us to understand. True it is not the Gakku concert but that just means more Dimash and more Angel. I am good with that.

Dimash and Li Yuang Drunken Concubine+Diva Dance Shanghai Spring Festival Gala On SMG’s UA-cam channel, preeeetty interesting Chinese opera and a lot of elements.
I think for the dear in the first place is the version from Gakku in the second from Singer (like me) and finally the units are preferred from Bastau.

Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance is a 6 octave performance: F#1-F#7. Some people say there's also an E1 in that song but I don't know if that's true.
Diva Dance Shenzhen has also 5 octaves (F#2 - F#7) and Unforgettable Day at the Gakku Festival (with the D8) has also 5 😊 And yes, the new Diva Dance has 6 (F#1 - F#7 (I hear 2 F#1s but not an E1 tbh))

Dimash in 2017 always seemed to sing for a competition, he got better and took the hype out.Because Dimash kudaibergen was known for the treble but look at the bass of this man..🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

I really didn't like this performance, compared to Gakku. Not that Dimash ever has a BAD performance, but no spoilers... I like literally every part of gakku better. The emotion, the connection, the engagement, the presentation, the pacing, the lack of off backing vocals, and of course the D8. I cant wait to see you compare the two.

just watch in the singer2017 the part when he supposed to hit that g7, didnt came out.
& then in gakku concert it seem he try to hit that g7 didnt came out again, but in second shot he hit d8 instead. just my thought, i could be wrong :p
