It made prime unique but they no longer do it anymore, they worked out how to use the benefits of a parallel cam with without having 4 cams this year.

Thanks for video steve, I've got the prime black 9 and to me it feels like a hunting bow to draw and alot of adjustment on the let off plus it balances well.

from my experience in the UK at competitions or if you see them on the range.. The elite archers are happy to help if they can.
Archers in general are good people and will help another if they can.

I have had two Prime bows, the first Prime One then the STX39. Both good bows. Yes they gave free strings every two years and they were surprisingly great strings. Prime bows are slow but very accurate. Great target bows. I shot my best scores with them. The 'swope' at the lower part of bow was made to take vibration out of the bow. I feel like it is one of the best engineered bows made. Older Prime bows were hard to adjust draw length because you had to buy modules. No cam lean is nice because of the twin parallel cams! Have not shot the black series. Unique bow, maybe not for everybody but top notch,!

Me and a couple of my friends had black 9 and black 5. There are a couple of issues with this series. The first batch has a tendency for developing cracks in the cams, because of poor material quality. They send you a new cam to replace it, but for me this was a thing which I never want to hear about my bow... Another batch had bearing issues, where they got poor quality bearings and after about a half year of average amount of shooting the balls just fell off. Flex guard has a tendency of breaking at the screw. I know other brands has some quality issues from time to time, but this series was really bad from a quality perspective. I liked the bow itself, all the pros what Steven says is true, but there are some things what I haven't like about this, including the 7 piece string set, which is a pain in the a** to set up correctly.

Here is the tough one for U SIRE: Prime Black 9 65IB VS Inline 5 80IBs VS Prime CT9 Logic 60ib
I am ready to buy one of this bow for this year. All fall on same price range withing $800. It is very hard for me to pick one.
I love how Black 9 Looks and How it is performing. Your Review on it, is Amazing.
But I also love 80ib Bows and Inline is just Speechelss. I am 80ib Bow guy. Love shooting at heavy speed.
CT9 Logic I like bc it is best of both world bc Cam specific Draw Lenghth and Long riser gives Great speed and Accuracy.
God it is very hard choice to make. Can't have all three. Please Help

got to try a Prime Nexus 6 at TAC last year, I really liked it but in the end I feared my local shops would not do well working on it (they dont do a great job with the brands they sell) decided I am going to stick with my Elite bows and spend the money on a press and learning to wrench for myself.

If that bow was made the year b4 the Inline Season then it should have the black grip that has NASA Aerogel under it. Great grip & I can't believe they put sandpaper over it.
The 82X aluminum riser is the strongest & lightest aircraft aluminum riser on any compound bow. The Swerve shape on it was developed to balance the bow with the top & bottom in inverse order. Warranty is for the original owner which saves u about $150 in product but the bowshop gets around $45 from the customer so that's a win/win for the shop & owner. Prime's generally shoot better with less letoff & my Conquest Control Freak 10" stabilizer really made a positive difference in noise.

Yeah it's a 2020 model, last years model was the nexus but they haven't made a bow with ata longer that 36 since this bow plus it feels like a hunting bow to draw compared to the other targets bows and feels good in the hand

@@josephtreadlightly5686 I prefer this prime black 9 better than my pse supra focus and bowtech fanatic, I hate the draw on target bows but yeah the nexus looks like a similar bow maybe the grip and Cams might be alitte different but yeah man I would rather my target bow feel like I'm pulling a hunting bow it's just because they didn't have different cam system from their hunting bows so it feels the same I've been looking at the prime inline 5 but I've bought way to many bows in the last year, so gotta slow down and sell some, dose the nexus have a lower front stabiliser, I'd like to see that on prime if not already.

@@robertmiller6822 I hear u, I started my barage on bows in 2018 when I bought a PSE Evolve 35. Followed by a Prime CT-5, Centergy & Nexus 4. The Centergy & Nexus have a similar draw cycle but the performance is different. All bows new in the box with full warranty that have had 1 owner, Me.

@@robertmiller6822 All 3 of the aforementioned Prime bows r 5.75" from the center of the arrow shelf on the front to the center of that front stabilizer hole. I put an extra screw on weight @ the end of my Conquest Archery Control Freak stabilizer with the Nexus. The CT-5 I put a gripper attachment on that bottom rear hole in the riser. But I didn't enjoy shooting that bow since it was too heavy & bulky & reminded of a Mathews. I took the stabilizers off that back & the front & haven't shot it. I had new strings & cables replaced on it a year ago by the Prime dealer & the bow has a new D-loop on it. I'm probably going to sell the Evolve 35 & the CT-5 when I get around to mounting more accessories on them that r new that I decided not to use. Someone who is against buying new bows & doesn't care about warranties is going to get a sweet deal. 1st I need to bring the Evolve 35 into the shop for a new string. I haven't been in that shop for like 4 years, b4 Covid started.

I'm not sure on their new bows whether they do the new strings deal but I just recently got a Prime One STX39 off a buddy and he got new strings for it just last year through them. It's only valid for the original owner though, doesn't transfer.

I have found when you're doing your burnish finish the best way to do it is under high poundage with like a cotton rope it works real With serving material how hard you gotta pull to burnish you can literally cut into the string the string that's what I've noticed I've noticed also on the Inn loops for the serving separation he is not serving them tight enough I mean yeah you don't want to go real tight on your inloops they say you can create uneven tension as far as your tag ends where they're tied off when you serve your inlude if you're in loop if you do it real tight it will twist up I've also found the best way to do this is to put your forepost under tension so I got attention in on my 4 pro system is distant like Butch Baker

Don't understand the "I feel in the guts that Prime will ride off the twin cams the next year" when Prime actually did that the LAST year. Is like predicting which team will win the 2022 Super Bowl or the Champions League. G5 Prime have been using twin cams for a while; the Black series and Nexus models adressed the problem from the CT9 of lacking rotating modules, and the In Line solved the problem of the convoluted 7 strings that the previous models had. The brand has the best finish in the market, but has to polish a bit the engineering of the In Line, which is a bit stiff/noisy.

ive had my black 9 for 18 months its so much easier to shoot than my old hoyt and i feel its way more accurate and stable i also dont need massive weights to make it balance like i like as its bottom not top heavy ( i get 290fps with 28" draw 58lbs with 27.5" procomps 420 with 130g points so its fast enough for me)

I was able to get 275 fps out of my old Prime CT5 with a 500+ grain arrow. It was set @ 64 lbs with a 30" draw. The shop was pretty impressed by my micro weight forward arrows that buried into their thick targets. One thing Prime does well is efficiency & they usually shoot a heavier arrow w/o dumping energy downrange.

I don't think people put enough tension on their serving Jake when they're it in their inludes all only put a pound or 2 dude no stretch that b****** up to a couple 100 pounds on a forepost and put like 4 or 5 pounds on it I've been using this fishing line I'm telling you right now man it's done great and it's in a severe bend on a bow Tech reckoning 38 and even power grip I was so surprised that power grip held up against Halo and then severe bins like that
