- In this video, I take a look at the loved and hated year of Chapter Three in the form of a retrospective. I think two years is more than enough time to gather one's thoughts and articulate them on the platform. What videos should I make next? Leave your ideas in the comments below.

The reason I like chapter 3 is because for me, It was the last chapter that actually FELT like Fortnite, After that, It just felt like the game was trying to be something else
Exactly! After chapter 3 Fortnite just decided to only do yearly maps and have no returning POI’s and new guns that only stick around for that one chapter. It just gets boring and im not sure i like the way Fortnite is heading

the buildings in chapter 4 and chapter 5 are something you would never see in chapter 1-3 like the houses dont feel like chapter 1 houses if that makes sense

Chapter 3 season 1 is arguably a top 5 best season of all time

Chapter 3 definitely felt cut short, the fracture event wasn’t great and the seasons felt someone disjointed, going from a summer party to a chrome covered catastrophe. All in all, I wish Chapter 3 could’ve gotten another season or two since I definitely think it’s gotten a bad rep overtime.
Chapter 4 is essentially a continuation to Chapter 3, just with a different map. This was how it was SUPPOSED to go.

Ch3 s4 was the last time the game was good 😔 I miss it. Then chapter 4 happened, and everything that came after.
The sensation on the first day of chapter 3 was amazing opening the game the character waking up and talking to the foundation it felt like opening a book and seeing another chapter to explore and then the panoramic of the island a shame that it ended early

@@remrants because they decided to focus in creative for the event thinking that people didn't like br anymore but we are lucky fracture didn't work because we almost got a goofy creative focused game
I agree on chapter 3 season 3, i hated it too at first but after a year i realized that i love it and missed it, and i agree chapter 3 is my favorite too
Im only nostalgic for those damn busted tree weapon plants… but C3S3 was extremely bad and offputting from the story setup by C2 and C3 beginning.

If I had to rank them:
4) Season 3: This season really wasn't as bad as the community says. The map was good, the lootpool was good, the new mechanics were cool. The only problem was its length. 7/10
Season 1: This season was really refreshing. The new map was awesome. We got a lot of content during the season. The lootpool wasn't great, though. The weather conditions and Klombo were great additions as well. I didn't like that much back then, but I have a lot of nostalgia for it nowadays for some reason. 7/10
Season 2: We got Zero Build... The balancing was bad and the map was a downgrade, but it was pretty short, though. 7.5/10
Season 4: This has to be the most underrated season ever. It was awesome in basically every aspect imo and we got some great mechanics. I loved the darker feeling of the season. 9/10
If chapter 3 was 2 years long instead of a year it would've been amazing. We could've got ltm's back and more of a cohesive story.

Chapter 3 would have easily been better than chapter 1 if it went longer, I’m sad it got cut short for the worst chapter yet 😭 I loved every season and that map feels like home to me

The worst? Chapter 3 was the last time I actually had fun. Like, fun fun. So many memories. Maybe bc ive literally been playing basically every day but. The start of chapter 4 was cool but fell off. The terrain and graphics were great but thats about it. Now, it’s alright. Also my OG squad is not around so that could be apart of it. I miss chapter 3 lol. The chrome was also great. I liked the reality tree also. Over hated.

Chapter the is my favorite plus I started in it. Whenever I hear loot in the mountains I always get sad cus I missed chapter 3 things I love: (battle pass I didn’t get) klombo spider man mythics exotics (I thought they where new) Darth Vader battle lab live event and more I loved chapter 3.

Fortnite chapter 3 was best because
1. Colourful poi
2. Colourful environment
3. Butterfly, foliage , mushroom, elements
4. Those cartoonish tree and reality flowers , terrains
5. Huge variety and supply in loot pools
6. Rave cave location, volcano best ever

Chapter 3 is definitely my favorite chapter, it was just so Random and chaotic but I saw that as a plus
I think a big reason people didn't care for Chapter 3 and by extension, Chapter 4, was how many new things were in play. New things to learn and figure out strategies for, which could turn off m
any people from the game.
Personally, I think Chapter 4 was the best Chapter.

after chapter 3 fortnite took a drastic artstyle change where all the props and tilesets stopped using the cartoonish distortions typical of the game, instead swapping them with generic unreal engine assets. currently, fortnite feels like a tech demo and its artstyle is completely dead. even the UI has changed to reflect that, becoming ultra minimalist and getting rid of all of the asymmetrical elements

This was the only chapter I’ve played throughout all the seasons. It was an awesome chapter for me personally but all of these Chapters only get better and better each year.

I really adored the final battle against the IO feel of it and it was when I got super into the game properly after having had an off and on thing going on with it

Chapter 3 was not regarded as the worst Chapter. I am a HUGE fortnite nerd, and that is straight bull crap. I would’ve seen it on twitter and UA-cam with people saying that. And even now, i dont think i found anyone who thinks that chapter 3 is the worst. I have no doubt that people didn’t enjoy that chapter as much as others, but saying that it’s “widely regarded” is a massive stretch. Maybe this is a way to get views or something. I also dont know why more people in the comments aren’t saying that that would be a lie. You guys know well that what this guy is saying is 100% not true. If anything ive heard most people say that it was the best Chapter. I hate to be that guy but, before you start making false claims, do your research.
i personally do like chapter 3 it’s a nice map i think the lore came to a nice conclusion in this season but only one problem is klombo didn’t stay i know there’s memes about it but i was so hyped for klombo and thought he was awesome but then they instantly removed it

Chapter 3 had in my opinion the best designed map but it was also the chapter fortnite stopped giving us good seasonal events and big updates. We only get small updates now and trash seasonal events
Fortnite peaked and added Klombo before shooting him in the head for no reason
Chapter 3 season 2 is where the story ended for me, idc if there's plot holes even thats better than what we got rn storywise
Pretty sure ch4 is the most disliked, ch3 was pretty well received especially the first 2 seasons the only thing that made ch3 a little controversial was its end event which was really lackluster

I LOOOOOOVED Chapter 3, the map was great & Collision was in my top 3 live events. The only problems I really had with this chapter was that they didn’t do much with the c2 and c3 maps being literally right next to eachother, sure we had a few C2 map cameos snuck in there, but definitely not enough. Also it was WAAAY too short & there should have been more done with the chrome…
Also the natural disasters like tornados and thunder were cool
Chapter 4 was definitely the worst chapter. But the first two seasons were really good. The chrome season just made the map look pretty awful and so was the event and Vibin didn't have many/great updates during the season.

I liked chapter 3 a little better than chapter 4 but overall they are almost equal for me. And that’s probably because they were supposed to be in one chapter together which would have been insane!

I Played only the first two and a half seasons of Chapter 3 and like 2 weeks of chapter 4. To be honest I think that the chapter 4 map was probably the beat map ever, it was floating in space, really cool, it was built from different worlds, allowing epic to put everything in it and to being old POIs, Shit it was floating in the space! But they ruined it, I don't know what the problem of chapter 4 was, the lootpool? the movement? (I actually disliked C3S2, I hated no build and I'm actually not good at building)

@@remrantsfor me they were average.... season 5 introduced the whole bars system with bounties, charecters ,exotic weapons, trading, etc... I used to hate season 6 but started liking it after the orelia update, as after that, i found a method to guarantee a gold scar and purple pump Every game.

First 2 chapter 3 seasons were revolutionary for the game but the last two especially vibin was def top 7 worst
The main pr9blem with Chapter 3 was yhat the 1st two season were great, but after Resistance, there wasn't much story left to tell and while vibin was just alright, paradise was a letdown for me, the decline of quality was just noticable.
I feel like late chapter 4 was so boring I just forgot about the game and came. Back in chapter 5
Actually OG and chapter 5 were peaks last month Fortnite had 100 million players playing Fortnite OG and when the Big Bang event happened 11.6 million watched the first showing of the event and now in chapter 5 we have millions of players

I loved chapter 3. In fact chapter 3 was better than 4 in my opinion. Chapter 4 felt like an unfinished creative map. Chapter 3 POIs were just lacking a bit. I always felt like chapter 3 map had a lot of potential. Now the chrome season on the other hand 🤢

Chapter 3 was my least favorite chapter, I really loved the first half, but then the second half happened… the highs of season 1 and 2 didn’t out-weigh the lows of season 3 and 4 in my opinion.
Same thing I'm saying. The chrome season covered the map in just one disgusting texture making it look bad and the Vibin season just didn't have many great updates to it.

Chapter 3 wasnt hated. Only in the start because of pros and something something competitive. Im willing to say Chapter 3 outperformed somee of Chapter 1’s few seasons. Chapter 4 is the worst in every way. So bad infact it never received any live events. Again I highly doubt Chapter 3 is the most hated.
Chapter 3 was absolutely awful...
The first season was great because of how brand new and fresh it was after chapter 2. I loved chapter 2 but I'll admit it was a little stale after stark season. Even with the spray meta this season was still very fun and entertaining to play especially with the addition of tilted and covert cavern and of course the spider man mythic.
I barely played the next season because the spray meta just got worse with the busted combat smg and op striker burst. The lootpool just did not feel fun at all.
I barely tried vibin as i was so done with the game and dissapointed at how bad it was. And from what I've played and heard, i wasnt missing out.
Chrome season I played a bit and liked the more focussed shotgun meta than spray meta.
Amd then we had fracture 😭😭😭. This event summed up the chapter, cool at the start (season 1) boring for most of it (season 2 and 3) and then finally over (season 4)
There's a reason epic started doing 1 year chapters and chapter 3 was definitely the reason. This chapter nearly killed the game but epic was able to bring it back with parts of chapter 4
