- Cooking a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Today my umma and I are tag teaming and whipping up a traditional Korean dinner that looks straight out of a K-drama. I told her to keep it simple, but she insisted we make 6 dishes. LOL! If you attempt to cook any of these, please tag meee!

CABBAGE SOUP
➥ 5 dried anchovies
➥ 3 dried shiitake mushrooms
➥ 2 strips of dried kelp
➥ 3 dried shrimps
➥ 3/4 onion
➥ cabbage
➥ 2 tbsp fermented bean paste
SESAME BROCCOLI
➥ broccoli
➥ sesame seeds
➥ 1 tbsp perilla oil (sesame oil)
EGGPLANT + ZUCCHINI DISH
➥ eggplant
➥ zucchini
➥ green onions
➥ 6 tbsp of soy sauce
➥ 1 tbsp of vinegar

I just made the cabbage soup, tofu, zucchini and eggplant from this video and they were all delicious!
I watched this video when it came out and it stayed in the back of my mind eversince. I really wanted to copy what your mom made as I've never had proper Korean food other than Bibimbap (which I love). It turned out really well :) I'll definitely be making this again.

This is probably my favorite video of yours, Jenn. From the editing, to the wholesome content, the ASMR like cooking noises of chopping and running water in the background, the lofi hip hop chill beats to study/relax to, the fact that you only spoke english to translate what a korean word meant! This was EVERYTHING! I know it’s not your usual, but I really hope you continue to make content like this. And I definitely need to try making the fried shrimp!
