Yes, and especially poignant given that the print on Emily's outfit for this interview could easily have been the inspiration for the Nice Guys promotional materials.
This is a GOOD interview because you keep the conversation grounded and engaging but still fun. Unfortunately, most interviews they have been doing are forcefully not serious with disposable sarcastic banter.
Great interview, really brought out the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. I'm not long home from watching The Fall Guy in Sydney, Australia this afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed the film - as did the rest of the school holiday audience (evidenced by bouts of laughter, howling and cheering). Fans of The Nice Guys and Gray Man should love it. It's important to point out that the final scene comes late in the credits, as a few people at my screening exited too soon.
Such a FUN interview…so sincere. Your enthusiasm encouraged them to dig in. I’m sure so much of the press junket is rote…this felt the opposite of that. Saw the movie this weekend and LOVED it!
I respect him so much and I bet Emily and Ryan too when he just was plainly blunt and say ¨um I think thats a BOLD statement...¨ not just because he was being very sincere but because it was funny as hell and real AF very refreshing specially for them maybe thats exactly what they thought and just didn't say it lol who knows
Steve, i hope you realize you and Josh Horowitz are the absolute pinnacle of journalism. Did you realize that 3:09 was quoted on The Hollywood Reporter?
Funny them making such a big deal about Steven Spielberg -- turns out Emily has a leading part in Spielberg’s new UFO movie for next year-- he must have REALLY liked Fall Guy.
¨Salmon fishing in the Yemen¨ is a great funny title to Ryan maybe because of Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell´s Globes 2013 iconic monologue lol thats what I instantly thing when I hear that movie title anyway lol
I just come back from the movie theater from watching it and it was SO fun, amazing, funny. I laughed during the whole movie, it inspired me and I love the romantic story involving ghosting and resolving it. I'm so happy 😊
Tom Hardy is versatile ❤ but I’d love to see him as a really badass, evil villain… Daniel Day Lewis’s character as the butcher is a prime example of a villain
Agree, The Nice Guys 2 needs to get done, if we need a kickstarter just do it, pretty sure it will be a success since it got a huge praise
Her mentioning the elevator made me think of 'The Nice Guys' where they watch the guy fall out the window and Ryan is shaking so bad.

The Nice Guys is the exact reason why I was looking forward to this. Probably one of my favorite lesser-known movies.
I love that Ryan quoted one of my fav lines from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.
Gosling being Alan Rickman as the Sheriff of Nottingham is my new favourite thing 🤣
Such an awesome pair of actors. The movie was so cool, so refreshing.

Super talented and very humble guy - Ryan Gosling is a perfect fit as a stuntman in the fall guy ❤ Emily is great with ryan ❤💥🤘🔥🤠
sometimes it looks like just Emily and Ryan chatting and the host is 3rd wheeling 😂
Emily - that other guy said I think is this the movie of the century.
Interviewer - “Thats a bold statement”
😂🤣💀
