What the hell was he doing. People were there to hear Angelina sing not listen to him adding riffs here there and everywhere, She was looking at him during these riffs and I can only imagine what she was thinking.
I am in tears once again hearing this song. Her singing immerses the listener in the full emotion of the song, we feel the song more deeply than even Adele was able to do, and I think Adele is a tremendous vocalist. Angelina can also sing those higher notes without her voice having any hard edges to it which can some times be distracting. You are able enjoy each note of her performance. I know I am highly prejudiced, that does not make wrong. Thanks for sharing this her live performances are a treasure. If there is more and you won't get in trouble I think there are many of us that would be forever grateful if you could, or would share them. If not, thank you so much for this.

Now suddenly she is in a seedy looking lounge with a boisterous audience whooping and cheering at the finish . . . . . . and I would be too ! ! ! A superb performance with her own 'touch' ! Have to put Diana a bit ahead because her voice is mature and she has spent decades perfecting her style and presentation. Angelina will get there too. She just needs a bit more time.

I will separate the person from the music and voice. Her music is reflective of Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Eartha Kit, Diana Krall, so reflective, emotional, bare, poignant! When a singer can make you feel and the hair on your arms is standing straight up, they have touched you. She is in this category. I cannot wait for her to grow as a person and artist and that she does not sell out to commercialization and fame. This voice is unique and eclectic!
This guitarist doesn’t have a clue about her genius and beautiful style. He was way too fast, played too too much and thought he could make it his own. You could tell she was not happy. He probably won’t be called back.
