I and my gf never skii before, we would like to go skii in China this winter. What is the best place with a good scenic view, and activities besides skiing?
the best in Beijing surrounding area is Wanlong that's no doubt. The best in northeast shouldbe Beidahu, and Songhua lake, both much better than Yabuli or Changbaishan (Changbaishan do have better hotel choices though). And the best in northwest (Xinjiang) area should be the ones aroung Altay, all better than silk road.

@@mr.q337 Depends how long your stay is and how much you want to spend. If its your first time to China, then Chongli region (Wanlong/Taiwoo) would be good as it is just a bit more than 1 hour high speed train from the heart of Beijing, slopes are well designed, hotel selection includes good local brands and international chain such as HyattPlace, Courtyard, InterContinental etc. You can spend 3 days on the mountain, and 3 days in Beijing to visit forbidden city, great wall etc. If you have been to Beijing before, then you might want to go to Jilin Province, and Changbaishan Resort should be your first choice with Ski-in/out Hyatt Regency and other good hotels. And the Changbaishan volcano is just 2 hours drive. If you need good English speaking ski coach and want to put more time to learn ski, try those Clubmed resorts and Beidahu will be my top pick. And most important note: Try to avoid Chinese public holidays.
@@mr.q337 Changbaishan has to be one of the best value resorts in China.. Done three years there and when booked early, great value under 700 a night all inclusive with tickets and equipment.
Who the hell put this together? Why are Koktokay and Jikepulin (Hemu) not on this list? They’re literally larger than most of the the US’ largest ski resorts, AND have longer seasons and larger annual snowfall totals. Jesus this list is terrible.
ALWAYS HAPPY CHRISTMAS IF YOU HAVE THIS PLACE. 😊😊😊
How is Songhua lake in Jilin province not on this list
That one is near dongbei ,but still i hope you visit keketuohai at Xingjiang best tree so far

Definately resorts in Xinjiang! There is Keketuohai and Hemu. Both are absolutely beautiful and Hemu is better for backcountry skiing
