It should not fly that fast, it should has a much heavier drop (something between throwing axes and throwing a pitchfork with a perk), and obviously melee attacks should be slower. That's just from the looks of it in the video, haven't touched it yet. Seems like a fun weapon. However, if it is balanced properly, I don't really see a point of it xD Because it does almost everything a throwing axe does. Certified Crytek moment
Not bad video dude, enjoyed it. I think they should've added the Spear as a main weapon and not a tool. Maybe then it would've been balanced because you would need to pick it up again to throw it a second time. Then you would've only had one weapon left and not an entire loadout that you can still use next to the one-hit nightmare.
I agree. That would be better than what we have now. If it was a large slot main weapon I wouldn't be complaining but seeing as it's a tool slot weapon it's insanely over tuned. I'm sure they'll fix it but knowing crytek might be take longer than I'd like. I'll be curious to see how they end up balancing it.
No that would be horrible, except if you couldnt throw the spear. Bcs if you were down, enemies could simply pick it up throw it away, pick up their guns and you'd be left with -1 weapon slot
@@noobboon2579 yeah that's true also, but for a throwable onehit weapon on almost any distance below 50 m it would be fair. I mean as a Solo this would be horroble, but as soon as you have a teammate, you can stillfight, even if they would've somehow thrown the Spear away and got their weapon bacl from you while a teammate is covering your body. It would definitely be a interesting idea but it needs some ironing.
Civil war troops were issued pikes so a spear isn't too far off for the time period. But honestly it brings some levity to the game. Something silly and over the top every once in a while is refreshing.

this is not broken !! in 15th august they fix it ! its only to have fun untill 5.11
It's definitely over tuned in a lot of ways. It needs to be nerfed but they're sometimes slow to make balance corrections.
