Recently our priest had stain glass windows put in all around our church of different apparitions of our Lady all around the world. Next to each window is a write up of the history of the apparition. It is so beautiful! I asked our parish priest where he got this idea and he said the Blessed Mother. I said, of course.
Father Goring, I worked as a campus patrol officer for St. Thomas Health Services medical system. I worked third shift and while I was on patrol one night at 2: am passing by the chapel for some reason I looked to my left and saw what I thought was a new statue of the Blessed Mother, I wondered when they put that there so I turned around and went back to see it and there was nothing there. I know what i had seen but still today can not explain it. I just wanted to share this. Praise be the Lord.

I just read that the apparitions were subsequently approved by the Vatican and the Polish Bishop Henryk Hoser, who was also in Rwanda during this postwar period when the Apparitions were approved, was infact the Archbishop who was later appointed by Pope Frances to live in Medjugorje and keep a watchful eye on unfolding events there

I recently became aware of this apparition about a month ago. The story is joyful and sad as our Blessed Mother warned of the Rwandan Genocide that would come if the people did not return to God. Sadly, 800k+ people were murdered in 100 days. This is a tragic part of World History, but very telling! Our Lady’s message was not just for Rwanda- but the whole World! Pray the 7 Sorrows Rosary as our Mother asked of the girls in Kibeho and repent, repent, repent! Amen.

It's nice to hear about these events because they help us realize that God is for real and so is heaven and hell. I understand that the Church has to be cautious about revealing stuff like this for obvious reasons. People can be psychosocially disturbed and have hallucinations that could be harmful if we just accepted everyone who had an experience like this. Such things have been harmful to the faithful in the past. But when they've been checked out and verified then and approved by the Church, I've always contended that everyone needs to hear about them. It bolsters our faith to know that God is staying in touch and cares about what we're doing. Thank you for not being one of those who say "we are weak in our faith if we need apparitions and miracles to strengthen our belief". To that line of thinking I say BUNK !! Everyone wants to see God or a piece of heaven. What person wouldn't want to see their Guardian Angel or talk to our Blessed Lady or even more so, speak with Our Lord? You'd be crazy to say "I don't need that". Thanks for sharing this event. Never knew about it until now.

Thank you, Fr. Mark, for this inspiring message from the Kebeho book. On your recommendation a little over a years ago, I bought from: amazon.com , a copy in english and then, a copy , in Polish for a Polish speaking priest, who has a Polish congregation. It is translated, now , into some other languages, than english. It was to be his Christmas present. He never mentioned whether he read it, and he may have passed it along to one of his Polish flock , but, I really enjoyed my copy , in english. It is really inspiring to read the lives of saints and about apparitions, which are mystical. Many protestants, resent that Catholics have apparitions, (even though Protestant people also experience apparitions somewhat more rarely) and do not like people ´s interest in this unnatural and sensational type of strangeness, and , even in Jesus ´s time, the Pharasee high priests of the Sannhedrin , did not accept, His miracles, even when they occurred , right before their eyes, but, Jesus, in His wisdom, (God in His wisdom ) knew that we as humans need some proof to take in His messages. We should not be afraid of the supernatural, which is not natural for us. The "occult" is forbidden because fallen angels (pure spirits) have powers of realisation and intellect, which are above us and which we humans do not have, therefore, it is dangerous for us to "dabble" in the "occult". The mystical apparitions from the point of view of the appointed Church leaders, must, of necessity, be suspect, until certain standards for holiness, are met to be judged as "approved" or "unapproved". The bible does state very clearly, that Jesus, after His Resurrection from the dead, was not pleased with the Apostle Thomas. Thomas came late to join the eleven who were gathered together after Jesus ´s first appearance to them, and reported , eagerly, to Thomas about what he had missed. Thomas stated that until he saw the wounds , himself, he would , unfortunately , be doubting , what they experienced ! Then, when Jesus appeared and made him touch the wounds, Thomas was aghast and awed and fell on his knees in humble adoration and joy. Jesus stated that : `Blessed are those who do not see, yet, who believe. ´ Sadly, we, all need, in our lowly state as "children" of God, proofs of the supernatural, and God is delighted if we love Him and His commandments and divine will for the Good, without all kinds of proofs, but , recognises our need for them, having Himself been human on the earth !
I don’t really know if these girls saw the Virgin but if the Church says so then I will follow the Wisdom of the Church on this. I did read the book and really believe in their hearts they saw the Blessed Mother. I always question sightings like this as maybe hysterical teens but this seems to the Church as the real thing so praise Jesus for Our Blessed Mother to come to us and let us be reminded what we must do to enter Heaven.

I just read that the apparitions were subsequently approved by the Vatican and the Polish Bishop Henryk Hoser, who was also in Rwanda during this postwar period when the Apparitions were approved, was infact the Archbishop who was later appointed by Pope Frances to live in Medjugorje and keep a watchful eye on unfolding events there

I recently became aware of this apparition about a month ago. The story is joyful and sad as our Blessed Mother warned of the Rwandan Genocide that would come if the people did not return to God. Sadly, 800k+ people were murdered in 100 days. This is a tragic part of World History, but very telling! Our Lady’s message was not just for Rwanda- but the whole World! Pray the 7 Sorrows Rosary as our Mother asked of the girls in Kibeho and repent, repent, repent! Amen.

It's nice to hear about these events because they help us realize that God is for real and so is heaven and hell. I understand that the Church has to be cautious about revealing stuff like this for obvious reasons. People can be psychosocially disturbed and have hallucinations that could be harmful if we just accepted everyone who had an experience like this. Such things have been harmful to the faithful in the past. But when they've been checked out and verified then and approved by the Church, I've always contended that everyone needs to hear about them. It bolsters our faith to know that God is staying in touch and cares about what we're doing. Thank you for not being one of those who say "we are weak in our faith if we need apparitions and miracles to strengthen our belief". To that line of thinking I say BUNK !! Everyone wants to see God or a piece of heaven. What person wouldn't want to see their Guardian Angel or talk to our Blessed Lady or even more so, speak with Our Lord? You'd be crazy to say "I don't need that". Thanks for sharing this event. Never knew about it until now.

the fickleness and inconstancy of creatures, that my heart was
so convinced as to be incapable, from that time on, of loving
anyone. He taught me the way how to love people without

Thank you, Fr. Mark, for this inspiring message from the Kebeho book. On your recommendation a little over a years ago, I bought from: amazon.com , a copy in english and then, a copy , in Polish for a Polish speaking priest, who has a Polish congregation. It is translated, now , into some other languages, than english. It was to be his Christmas present. He never mentioned whether he read it, and he may have passed it along to one of his Polish flock , but, I really enjoyed my copy , in english. It is really inspiring to read the lives of saints and about apparitions, which are mystical. Many protestants, resent that Catholics have apparitions, (even though Protestant people also experience apparitions somewhat more rarely) and do not like people ´s interest in this unnatural and sensational type of strangeness, and , even in Jesus ´s time, the Pharasee high priests of the Sannhedrin , did not accept, His miracles, even when they occurred , right before their eyes, but, Jesus, in His wisdom, (God in His wisdom ) knew that we as humans need some proof to take in His messages. We should not be afraid of the supernatural, which is not natural for us. The "occult" is forbidden because fallen angels (pure spirits) have powers of realisation and intellect, which are above us and which we humans do not have, therefore, it is dangerous for us to "dabble" in the "occult". The mystical apparitions from the point of view of the appointed Church leaders, must, of necessity, be suspect, until certain standards for holiness, are met to be judged as "approved" or "unapproved". The bible does state very clearly, that Jesus, after His Resurrection from the dead, was not pleased with the Apostle Thomas. Thomas came late to join the eleven who were gathered together after Jesus ´s first appearance to them, and reported , eagerly, to Thomas about what he had missed. Thomas stated that until he saw the wounds , himself, he would , unfortunately , be doubting , what they experienced ! Then, when Jesus appeared and made him touch the wounds, Thomas was aghast and awed and fell on his knees in humble adoration and joy. Jesus stated
that : `Blessed are those who do not see, yet, who believe. ´ Sadly, we, all need, in our lowly state as "children" of God, proofs of the supernatural, and God is delighted if we love Him and His commandments and divine will for the Good, without all kinds of proofs, but , recognises our need for them, having Himself been human on the earth !

I don’t really know if these girls saw the Virgin but if the Church says so then I will follow the Wisdom of the Church on this. I did read the book and really believe in their hearts they saw the Blessed Mother. I always question sightings like this as maybe hysterical teens but this seems to the Church as the real thing so praise Jesus for Our Blessed Mother to come to us and let us be reminded what we must do to enter Heaven.
