Not even the undead can catch a break from the horrors of service work it seems. You did a fangtastic job with this one Fae! An excellent job maintaining the comedy of the outlandish sort of expectations customers have of service workers, while perfectly conveying just how much patience and restraint it takes to deal with that on top of all the other demands that service work can have. The exasperation and confusion in your tone throughout was spot on x3 Hopefully it's not something you had to draw from too much personal experience with though!
Slippin' her a note at the end of her/mine shift: "People can be REALLY difficult sometimes, you did great today. Gonna put in a good word for you at the next HR meeting :) Hope you have a nice night."
@@WorkFestit's not, though I understand how you might get that impression. The listener is the silent observer sent by hr who is never explicitly gendered. The customers and callers are all side characters of various genders. Still fair if you didn't like, but I care a lot about appropriately labeling my work. I get how frustrating it can be to get suddenly misgendered in an audio you were enjoying. Sorry if this audio gave you that feeling
@WorkFest If I can throw my 2 cents in...This was actually written F4F. But then was changed F4A because Silent Observers don't have genders, because...why would they? In reality, it could be A4A because I don't believe there is any gendered terms relating to the speaker or the listener. Or if there are they are easily changed. I think it is also important to note that eternal customer service doesn't need any genders in it because...why would it? Anyways, hope you enjoyed it! I loved it!❤❤

I KNEW the silent observer was actually super nice!
@@FlawlessFae of course😉
The scariest thing of them all is being forced to work opening/closing shift.
Thanks for the audio, Fae! Great work as always!
vamprms
Ah yes, because the monstrous and supernatural cannot match the horrors of working customer service
Really cool audio, Fae! ^^
Don’t bite me please I really don’t taste all that good 😟 💚
Thank you faaaaaaae (sorry I was late)
Jeez, they're like vegans combined with Jehova's witnesses
This is clearly F4M though.
