@@nireas570 Oh i have, it was far worse Just i am reminded of that with these few recent episodes, they‘re honing in on just what‘s viable again recently
Honestly I think if they do a progression season 3 add a rule half the deck has to use cards from the set they just opened. That, or they can’t play an archetype played by either player in the last 2 episodes. This way they have to use different decks every episode!
Half is probably too high of a percentage, especially if they do the bad side sets again - like try to imagine using that rule when they open Hidden Arsenal 2 or something. A quarter of the deck is probably more reasonable to have new decks each episode that still are functional. Second suggestion has interesting metagaming implications since it'll mean both will not have to worry about up to 4 decks (depending on how mirrors they play) when building the deck and side deck, and during triangle formats they can try to pick decks to avoid bad match-ups although this might devolve into mirror matches of the strongest deck every third week
That might work.... until you realized that half of the pack they opened( i know its not this one) doesnt have cohesive strategy, full of pack filler and reprints, gets fucked by rarity, or simply their pulls are unclucky You gotta toned down from half to maybe like 10 at most. While i would like them to changes deck frequently, i also doesnt wanna them just play straight garbage that whole gameplan is whos got the highest attack or something bcz i would argue thats even more boring
I think the correct take is that they should have to use a card from the set that they opened. Just a single card would force some change in decks, but also allow for returning strategies.
Man and his chat gets constantly mad about two commentators commentating but will glaze the streamer for proceeding to go on the same unrelated tangent. Zoo wee mama.
Gage wasting yet another starlight on a card that will be played exactly once.
I wish I could say I'm surprised.
Was so hyped to see chaos max turbo, immeasurably disappointed.
Agreed
no new decks in this series, just swaps
You probably haven't watched S1.

Cimo plays BA in prog then does his first collab with Farfa soon after. Coincidence? I think not.
Alex’s experience from playing this format is really showing lately
Someday we’ll learn to not squander our starlight wild cards. But that day is not today.
Game 1 Cimo forgets Downerd has an effect.
Imagine using a starlight on farm girl.
I thought cimo was gonna play blue eyes what was the point of opening this set
It can be used at anytime in the future as long as none of the cards pulled are banned
This like Groundhog Day
Cimo taking out pot of greed just hurts

They really should've started this series with some "anti-eternal blackwings/Chaos" rule.
