- You will be making music with the exciting QChord right from the start even if you've never played an instrument before!
Choose from over 100 different sounds such as piano, guitar or flute to accompany your singing or to play your favorite melodies.
The QChord replaced the Omnichord. And, though it is similar it has a much improved sound system and many added features.
Generally, the Omnichord or QChord can be thought of as an ELECTRONIC AUTOHARP, CHROMAHARP or even as some people refer to it as an ELECTRONIC CHORDED ZITHER. However, it is even MORE!
While an autoharp is limited to only 12, 15 or 21 chords which include Major, Minor and Seventh in as many as seven Keys, the QChord can also play Minor Sevenths, Major Sevenths, Diminished and Augmented Chords in all 12 Keys. It is far easier to play than the Autoharp, has no strings to break or go out of tune and is more versatile with 100 different sounds, built-in rhythm accompaniments and more.
Can you imagine a room full of old people using those.
Cocoon The Musical
I desperately want one of these, but this advert has almost put me off.
Exactly ! You buy it = you’re old and don’t know nothing about music 😝
It’s so ironic! This thing was used by innovative groups like REM, Joe McGinty from Psychedelic Furs and many other “Alternative” groups. This ad relegates it to a busy box for the near dead.
“Even with my arthritis”
Now anyone can be a Vaporwave producer. I'm getting mine!
The strangest instrument I never knew I wanted. This thing is the equivalent of loving b-rated movies for the sake of being b-rated movies. Is it so bad it's good? No... it's just good in its own weird way that not a lot of people will appreciate. But damn, do I really want one now!
I hope this movie is never taken down
the qchord. another quality cinco family product
That's what I used to tell my wife..."Just strum along and have fun!"
I don't think I have ever wanted any sort of product less than I want this.
Imagine loosing half of your day on the QChord! Sweet Jesus take me now!
Another fine Cinco product
jahthunder01 Nice Tim and Eric reference. I was waiting for Dr Steve Brule to come out.
hahahahhahaha
Love the Omnichord! Thinking about buying a QChord now. Thanks for posting.
The best part of this video is when he tells you how to stop it.
QChord & Omnichord both them are amazing.
The odd thing is that all of these old people were like 25 years old when they first started playing the qchord, and within MINUTES.....
this would make a good Tim and Eric skit
This is soooo amazing!
+lisa lærum åslund no
the presentor really reminds me of saul goodman
That comment reminded me there's a new episode out today! Thanks, man.
Interesting Qchord play n sing along.
Suzuki first made something they called the "Tronichord" which was much smaller and pretty basic. (Also marketed as the "Portachord".) A friend of mine had the first prototype in the U.S. and it said "Suzuki" on it but no model name because they hadn't settled that yet. This was really the steppingstone to the "Omnichord", and the first model was the OM-27 (27 chords). It did a little more than the Tronichord but was still basically an electronic autoharp with a few added features. There was a series of Ominichord models each with more and more features. The Qchord is a big jump to a massive number of features and is the top of the line of this sort of instrument, and also the end of the line. All of these are somewhat collectible today. This demo doesn't come close to showing all that a QChord can do. For example, while it has major, minor, and 7th chords for each key, you can press combinations of keys for four more chords: Major 7th, Minor 7th, Augmented, and Diminished. It also has "intro" and "end" keys where it plays an intro or a finish to the piece and all are different based on the rhythm style selected and if you have a rhythm plug in card (30 more rhythms) each of those has its own intro and end. It has a spring loaded "pitch bend wheel" at one edge that functions like a whammy bar on a guitar. Can really give you that Hawaiin guitar sound. There is also an overlay you can place on the chord keys that identifies the bottom two rows into piano keys in a different mode (and you can set the octave and do other things with the top row of chord keys.) But this demo is just the basics of using it like a glorified autoharp. And, just like an autoharp, it always sounds good because it is impossible to play anything dissonant - only legitimate chords and the strum plate then uses the same notes.
Nice Performance.
im sold
I love my Q Chord. I can play it while soiling my depends.
😂😂
Thanks...vey helpful
great job appealing to the young people
This is the only video that has managed to make the Q Chord look lame as hell.

Never seen anything like this. Would like to own one. 👍😁
So that's what Larry David does between seasons of Curb.
I know. so good
i think they just gave a bunch away on Bingo night and all they had to do was to read the required lines for the video... I was tempted to get one to help with my songwriting but now I don't think I will..
+Jason Burchard I can't imagine they did very well by marketing a synth to people born in the 1900s.
According to the user testimonials, the best feature is its ability to make you lose track of time in your golden years...
interesting target market!
lol
You mean no more free organs in 20 years? Damn!
Hmm can we play cannibal corpse on this one
Or the ultimate song, Boston's "More then a feeling"?
It's not a musical instrument... it's a time machine.
If you like the Q-Chord, You'll LOVE OLD PEOPLE!
So their main target audience to sell to now are those living in senior centers?!?!? Holy crap!
I can play!
Seems like they marketed this as the Baldwin organ of the new millennium.
Please told me how to get onu the instrument the Qchord
"I lost half of the day"!!

this is damn funny!
You don't expect old people to be able to figure this out, do you? Old people have a hard enough time with remote controls.
But can it play THE FINAL COUNTDOWN?
Dinasours can play!!!
i didnt know youtube existed in 2008
Does the q chord have the original Omni chord sounds?
No, it is a different beast
Amazing instrument. C: but the whole "lead" thing he is trying to pull of makes it sound messy

The lead singer of Jangula plays one of these. This ad sucks.

Is it just me or all I see is senior citizens like... more than a regular video. They couldn’t hire some younger people

This is just awful. Also all the testimonials are from seniors...odd.
What kind of goofy shit is this?
I'm not buying one after seeing this pathetic excuse for a 'commercial'.
I guess I'll have to wait until I'm 90 to buy one of these.
