just listened to the intro, an interpretation with great depth, each note matters and we hear it and we're mesmerized .. not easy to play with such feeling.

Hi, thank you for your videos in youtube, it helps us to practice flamenco with the guitar at home. I would like to ask you if you have recorded " The Malagueña " with TABS from the same film of Antonio Banderas. We are longing for it. Thank you very much indeed.
Hi! Sorry for a delay in my response! I’ve been a little bit offline lately! Thank you so much for your comment! It’s really great to hear that my videos hello in practicing flamenco! Unfortunately, I haven’t recorded the malagueña from film “desperado”. Maybe I try to record it in the future! But, I’ve recorded some another version of simple malagueña! You can watch my lesson here: ua-cam.com/video/s12YO6mBmCA/v-deo.html Greetings!
Do i need to have this kind of guitar to do this, or will it work on an electro acoustic with a sort of hollow body? I wanted to be able to play more than one genre of music 🤷🏾 and also needed something easier to learn on. But i really like that Spanish guitar sound. 😅
Hello! Thanks for your comment! It’s a more complex question that it’s seems to be. Apparently you are able to play this on an electro acoustic for sure - the best way with fingerpicking without nail or with a little bit of nail. But the thing is about the color, tone and sound of the guitar. To sound like in the original version (Cancion Del Mariachi) you have to have a classical guitar with nylon strings, but you don’t have to copy the original one. You can figure out something on your own. So it depends. But if you want to study flamenco music, then you should invest in classical/flamenco guitar with nylon strings. I hope that my answer helps! Greetings! Mateo
Thanks for the reply. I guess I need to know the notes first anyway. If only this track was in Youcisian, so that I could get the basic idea. I'll definitely try the right hand rhythm thing though. 😅 🙏🏿
Question! Ive pretty much implanted the whole thing in my hands, when this is to be all played together should it be played faster? The orignal song plays at a higher speed, is this one to be played in the same manner? Or, is their another variation for those who want to play the quicker version. Thanks!
@@diegomenchititio hi! Thank you very much for your question! This is a tutorial that shows many things in slower speed. Of course, the song should be played at original speed or at least 0,9 x speed of the original in order to maintain the original character. Greetings! Mateo
Hi! Thanks for your comment! Yes, exactly! But I think the A5 string is also sounding, so it will be F#, A, D#, A, B, E, or it can be as you said F#, x, D#, A, B, E. The note on the 1st E string is open (it’s the influence from Spanish guitar) but you can also play F# note on the 1st E string ;). Greetings!
Hi! Thanks for your comment and question! I know people that start with a flamenco guitar that never have played classical guitar before. It all depends. If you play your classical guitar for 3 months now, it is essential to learn the basics of the technique properly. Flamenco guitar requires all techniques that are used on the classical guitar and expands its techniques with mainly rasgueado, alzapua, and flamenco tremolo. But as I said before, some people start with flamenco guitar and learn all the techniques from scratch. If you know the basics of technique, then you start to learn flamenco music, rhythms, Palos, harmony etc. It is not so easy to learn with only UA-cam without any teacher.. especially when you haven’t played the guitar before (apart from these 3 months). Because the supervision is important so that you don’t make critical mistakes. So these are some issues of starting a flamenco guitar… I wish you all the best! Greetings! Mateo
Hi! Thanks for your question! Please let me know which specific fragment you mean? You mean the mariachi strumming pattern? If yes then I made a very detailed longer lesson focused only on the mariachi strumming pattern - here you can watch it: ua-cam.com/video/tjoojOmFMNQ/v-deo.html Maybe this will help! Please let me know! Greetings!
@@ProFLAMENCO hey wow, thank you so much for your response, I greatly appreciate it a lot. I will check that out. But yeah I meant the string golpe. I know it's not golpe, but yeah.
Hi once again! Thank you very much for your response! I hope my video will help you a little bit. So the secret to stop the string sound is that after you play the strum down with your 4 fingers (index, middle, ring and pinky) you immediately (really immediately) put your palm (actually the inner Lower part of your hand) on the strings that causes immediate stop (mute) of the sound. I hope that you will see it on the video. It’s sometimes difficult to explain something through a text message but I hope you will get it! I wish you good luck! Mateo
@@ProFLAMENCO most definitely, I see what you are saying. Although I was so surprised at just how fast you have to play that, and the thumb placement after needs to be perfect in order to play the next strum. I also found difficulty muting all the strings. It's good to know I need to use the pinky in the strum as well, thank you for these tips. I did check out your video, it's a nice way for me to follow along and practice the strum pattern with you. Amazing work, thank you so much! 🙏
