One of the first nature+music meditation pieces I ever experienced, & still IMHO one of the best. It has very personal associations for me. Very old & very good - if you can find an original CD or tape, snap it up!
Believe it or not, just bought a copy of the CD of this in a charity shop (thrift store if you're American!) David Naegele was a classical pianist who basically WAS Upper Astral - he wrote most of the music either himself or with David Storrs and Robert Slap. Robert Slap himself wrote a lovely album called Ascension to the All That Is (you can't feel left out of a title like that!) that's basically an organ on top of a synth sound - starts off gently and every so often hits you with all the stops out! Like being hit by a cannonball of flowers, that thing! Valley of the Sun's still going in a way, long may it continue. It dates back to when New Age was truly experimental (and gloriously odd!) i used to use this music to my accolyets many years ago to put them into a meditative state ....then switch it off when they wre so lovely memorys thank you/

Tonight for the first time I had the light bulb go off and checked on You Tube and am now back entranced with your audio visions. Can I buy the CD somewhere? Would love to be in contact if you're still in this sphere. Your music influenced and infused me with such calm, gratitude, and so much beauty. Thank you from the inside of my ears all the way into my heart and beyond. I too, am an architect of sound and know you played in harmony with my soul introducing me to The Temple in the Forest. Great tape. David was also a member of Upper Astral, they put out a lot of good tapes on Valley of the Sun as well.
This easily puts me into an instant meditative state...so nice..ahh
