I would like all the fans who were there to remember the oldest Hibs fan who was there his name was Sammy Martinez and he was 106yrs old when Hibs made sure that the man would be able to attend the game he lived in westerhailes and was the nicest man you could ever meet and I've got to say that Hibs were brilliant with Sammy Martinez and when he turned 100yrs old they pulled out all the stops for that mile stone in Sammy's life I knew Sammy for a lot of years my nephew was a friend of his son sass I knew his daughter carol growing Up and he knew my son his hole life and my son is 40yrs old now he was such a humble man didn't ask for much out of life and he was known by many people and sadly his wife Mary whom he loved very much and yes you always get family problems in any families his son's Clifton aka load and Simon were lovely guys as well and sadly load lost his only son and child at about 34yrs old but getting back to Sammy Martinez sadly Sammy Martinez passed away not long after his beloved Hibs lifted the Scottish cup and I for one I'm so glad that Sammy got to see the cup going to Easter road as he used to say to all generations that he would still be here to see the hibees take the cup home to Easter road and he did rip Sammy Martinez and you were right in what you said about that Scottish cup that day that it was going to Easter road and it did best day except for giving birth I've ever had rip Sammy Martinez now you are with your lovely wife Mary up in heaven looking down on your family and friends ggtth rip Sammy xx
Met 4 Hearts fans rooting for Hibs in the run up to the final, though I'm sure they're still in the minority. One was my Dad right enough, who has always wanted everyone to beat Rangers, even when as a young kid I was dumb enough to support them myself, until at about 6 or 7, I came to my senses. (My mum's from Govan, so I'm probably better qualified to support them than most the glory hunters who do!) Another was a former work colleague, who would always slag me for supporting Hibs, but told me he was rooting for them in the final. The other 2 however were people who I'd never met before that just came up to me in the pub and announced they were rooting for Hibs. By the way even more shockingly for all the huns out there, I'm a bit of a Danny Dyer, in that I'm distantly related to the Royal Family on my mums side (something to do with the Countess of Airlie or Angus Ogilvie, or something, I'll need to check it out properly!) Need to see if I can sponge some money off the state like the royals. Sure I'm about 2,786th in line for the Throne or something, so surely I can get something! My favourite song is "God Save The Queen" also _ _ _ the Sex pistols song mind you!
What the Frick has Anthony stokes being in the jail got to do with the brilliant performance he gave to bring that cup back to Easter road jeees not another armchair critic get over yourself Muppet we're talking about football not about jail and if he is in jail no one is perfect are they and as my late mum used to say your allowed one mistake and no one is perfect so get a life for Frick sake we're talking about football and the Scottish cup here I'm not here to dig the dirt up on people but it looks like you are and people like you so take a jog and get a life as well folk like you piss me right off
Yes Anthony stokes is in jail and it's like he's the only person to end up in jail my late mum brought 7 of us up and always said to us your allowed 1 mistake but don't make a career out of it and that advice I put on to my own son she always said that everyone deserves a chance and treat people the way you expect to be treated yourself and never ever think your better than anyone else and manners cost nothing which they don't and to all the keyboard warriors out there who have been slagging stokes off for landing in the jail just remember that it could happen to anyone and no one knows the full story but what people don't know they make up anyway and by no ways or means I'm I saying that it's alright to land in the jail because it's not but I think it's Anthony stokes personal business
At least they've won the League 4 times. 4 more than Sevco. By the way, I supported Rangers back in '72 as a young kid and mind them winning the Cup Winners Cup. Went to see them when they used to struggle to get 20,000 for some games and sometimes under 10,000! (Check the David Ross book "The Roar of the Crowd" for how many turned up for the last 2 home league games at Ibrox before the Cup Winners Cup Final!) With a mum from Govan and a dad who's from a few miles north of Glasgow, I'm better qualified to support them than half the glory hunters who do. Mind being in Elgin and seeing loads of them in a pub up there when a New Firm game was on! Seem to think religion is more important than football. All that going to church and sticking to the 10 Commandments must be a real drag! Haven't met many Hibs fans who make a big thing about religion (given that most the ones I know aren't Catholics, that's no probably surprise!), though I know it means something to some of them!

Stokes "I've always said Celtic is my club" well said lid
At least Hibs converted Pat Nevin and he never even played for them!
Adana Demirspor
Rangers winning their world record 55th title will eclipse anything we have seen in football. This will seem like peanuts.
FXHEROS you club is dead...4-0 today=no final for you 😂
Rangers mat have won 54, Sevco haven't won any yet and I speak as a former childhood Rangers fan!
If u have 54 titles u must also have the debts of the previous club. That is how business works.
The Rangers are not Rangers. Two totally different entities.
@@donuttime2507 your club n company died in 1994 pacific shelf
Legends? Haha. Half the team are nobodies now. And Alan Stubbs the hero cup winning manager is a laughing stock and a joke.
This aged well.
Most iconic moment in scottish football
There is no room in Scotland for hibbs
