I have no idea why the guy on the good excavator is pressing down over and over in front of the stuck excavator. The other guy needs to stick his boom towards the other machine so he can grab it's bucket not screw around doing nothing in case a flood comes.
I can understand how you could do that I did one myself very close but I was able to get out on my own only by a sheer lock little bitter Teknique butt.
You seem to get a lot of machines stuck in mud infact a high number maybe the drivers should go through better training..
steven clark or maybe realize 200 size is not for the swap like irish people knew over 40 years for bog and swampland work. We’ve special diggers for this work.

What these people need to make are timber mats. About 8ft wider than the tracks, and three beams bolted together, to pick up and move ahead in this very soft material. I watch them use concrete slabs, and that creates a problem because these slabs will be left in these boggy areas, and the mats can be used over and over and kept at the location of the excavator owner piled to be used as necessary. You need an excavator with a thumb to move these materials to speed the recovery. The process these people use takes at least all day, when it could be done in a couple of hours.

Bass...I could have gotten it out without no help...maybe....couple dozen bags on concrete....break them open and half ass be mix them in the direction you want to go and let it kick...it will suck up water and turn the mud hard enough to get some traction and half mixing them makes it easier to break them up.
