What’s funny Laura Dern’s mother, Diane Ladd stared in Carnosaur that same year. Mother and Daughter staring in Dinosaur films.

My all-time favorite film. Classic, epic, timeless, memorable, awesome, Spielberg's best, memorable unforgettable score by John Williams, memorable cast of Neill, Dean, Goldblum, Jackson, Knight and Attenborough, and top-notch epic stellar effects by Stan Winston. Don't know how many I love and praise the film enough.

This is my favourite Spielberg movie and I love how the movie starts of as this adventure of man discovering the genius of cloning dinosaurs, but then the adventure slowly turns into this nightmare of trying to escape being eaten by dinosaurs and brilliant performances from the cast and special effects that are still convincing and legendary!

I know and that's similiar to what Ian Malcolm says in the second movie the Lost World. "Oh yeah ooh ah that's how it always starts...but then later there's running and uh screaming."

I know they are two different movies but when I think of the name Gennaro it makes me think of the first Die Hard movie when McLane flies out to LA to see his wife at her job at the Nakatomi Plaza only to discover that her last name is Holly Gennaro instead of McClane.

Classic film that made pretty much every kid of the 90's fall in love with dinosaurs even more. I'm sad that I didn't get to see this the bigscreen, but I will always have fond memories of watching it over and over again on VHS as a kid.

Not sure if anyone knows what the lawyers first name is in Jurassic Park but it's Donald Gennaro. Just a fun fact. If u listen closely Hammond actually says his first name acouple of times it just might not be loud enough for viewers to hear it.

I have been on the Jurassic Park ride. It is an awesome ride. Maybe one of the sequels should have been directed by James Cameron. That might have been interesting and would have been better than the sequels we got.

Oh no Speilberg knocked it out of the park with the first 2 movies. People tend to forget that JP3 was not directed by Speilberg. It was directed by Joe Johnston who directed Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

The Dilo scene with Dennis Nedry aka Seinfelds Newman is my favorite scene in the movie and the Dilo is my favorite and is the most frightening Dino imo. Eventhough we don't get to see the Dilo come back in the second or third movie we get to see a hologram pop up in Jurassic World which is cool but not as a cool as if we actually see it really return doing is spinetingling frill spread, screaming and spitting poison. I've never seen Dominion yet so I'm hoping the Dilo will actually make a real non hologram appearance. No spoilers for me.

This film is number 13 on my list of all-time favorite movies. And in my opinion, it's Spielberg's last great film. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of his later movies like: "Catch Me if you Can", "Adventures of Tintin", and "Ready Player One", but to me, Jurassic Park was the last film that was made by classic Spielberg. The Spielberg that brought us ET, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Like a lot of films, I saw Jurassic Park at such a young age, I didn't see it in theaters because if came out 4 years before I was born, but it really is a kickass movie.
Obviously the show stealers are the dinosaurs, especially the CG ones. Because when Jurassic Park came out, no one had seen special effects like this before, and it really made people believe that... dinosaurs really did come back to life.
But even looking past the dinosaurs, it's just a well crafted movie. The characters are great, you got acting performances from: "Sam Neil", "Richard Attenbourgh", "Laura Dern", it's a perfect cast.
And it's also a movie that has a sense of awe and wonderment to it. My favorite scene in the whole movie is the Brachisaurus scene when Dr. Grant and Dr. Satler first see the Brachisaurses. And I think one of the elements that makes that scene as wonderful as it is, is John Williams score. Once again, John Williams composed another iconic score, and I don't think that Brachisaurus scene would've worked if John Williams music wasn't playing.
It's a movie that makes you laugh, it's a movie you has you on the edge of your seat, it's a movie that just has everything. It's number 13 on my list of all-time favorite movies, and my 2nd favorite Spielberg film.

What more can you say about this film? Without a doubt the best of the six films hands down.

I tried to have plenty to say about it. Just the collaboration of so many masters of their craft is worth talking about alone. Then you have the fact that the cast and crew battled a hurricane that shut down production for a decent amount of time, and that's just one of many hurdles so many people had to get over to make this film a reality.

@@OcpCommunications Jurassic Park (1993) is my favorite movie but I honestly think if James Cameron would’ve directed the second movie instead of Titanic (1997) it would have been one of the best sequels of all time that might’ve even possibly topped the original movie.

Classic sci-fi movie! Saw it in theaters at age eleven when my dad took me in his big Mack truck to California after my birthday to Disneyland and universal studios and we saw it at night at universal city theaters. It was a blast seeing it on the big screen with my father and had a couple of shirts and a cap and lunchbox of this movie.

U ought to play Jurassic Park the Game for ps3. I don't think physical copies of the game were ever made but u can buy a digital download of the game from the ps store. If your mind was blown by the movie it would be blown by the game. In one part of the game you're actually at that exact same location where Nedry got his jeep stuck by the water fall and where the Dilo killed him and you have to find the can of embryos that he lost which is pretty cool. What's even more frightening is you're surrounded by not one but quite a few Dilos and they make the exact same sound effects as in the movie.

Too bad the sequels weren’t as good. They should not have made sequels to it. It doesn’t work as a franchise. The sequels went too far away from what Spielberg was trying to teach us about not playing God with science.

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie but I honestly think a sequel to this movie could’ve been phenomenal in the 1990s if James Cameron directed it, because Aliens is the best sequel ever and Terminator 2 is fantastic.
I would’ve preferred to have seen James Cameron direct a second movie because in my opinion Titanic is an overrated piece of shit but that’s just my opinion if you like the movie that’s fine.
I’m not gonna get in detail as to why but RamboRalph4Life is a great UA-cam channel for reviewing movies. He did a video talking about why he’s not a fan of the movie and the reasons he mentioned is the same I have I’ll put a link right here.
