Very good breakdown of the fight! However, I want to adress few things at it. First, people has the impression that Chrollo run from Hisoka bcs he would have lost without a plan. No, that's not the case. He run bcs he wasn't 100% sure of a win. And that is something described well in how Chrollo operates. It is stated that for Chrollo to join a fight, there are conditions : 1. When all rest of the Troupe members are outmatched by situations. That's when Chrollo enters. 2. When Chrollo is 100% sure of win condition. Or else, he doesn't enter the fight. (Humbleness it's a key of survival in Hunters world. Being aroggant only brings you death. Proof such as Uvo against Kurapika, or why not Hisoka being aroggant enough to still enter to fight after hearing what Chrollo prepared. Chrollo is as dangerous as possible because of his humbleness. He really meant what he said when he told to Zeno that, he's not gonna have another chance like there.) 3. When he is just forced by the situation. Kind of the Zoldyicks situation (even tho he had a plan there too). So I hope people stop assuming things especially in hxh world where it's always a gamble between top nen users in nen battles. Also, People don't understand exactly how Togashi is painting this dance of death. Chrollo didn't plan just to kill Hisoka. He planned to destroy everything Hisoka was about. Think about it. Hisoka loves to destroy people's plans and hopes. I think everyone knows that. Well, Chrollo did the uno reverse card on Hisoka. He played a long, slow fight to slowly make Hisoka understand that he's going to die. Proof of this is Hisoka's statement "So you choose the long time fight..." meaning, Chrollo could as well go for a short fight. Now, Hisoka isn't the same after this fight. Now Hisoka wants to destroy everything Chrollo is about too. How do you do that? Of course, you go for the Spider's limbs. Hisoka not only he takes away from Chrollo potential's hatsu that can take and use, but he also destroy Chrollo's mental. Chrollo/Phantom Troupe against Hisoka it's a bit deeper than you expect. And there are so many wild cards to be played in the current manga on Black Whale. Togashi is truly one of kind in writing.
Chrollo had a way to know 100% if he was going to win or not. Lovely Ghost Writer. The idea that Chrollo is as smart as he is, but never used LGW to read the future of his allies to know if he wins or not is a character assassination of Chrollo's intellect. And just like Kortopi and Shalnark, Neon died nearly the same time as them. It's heavily implied that Chrollo used LGW to make sure his plan succeeded. And that has some implications. There would be no reason to waste months doing this if he could know he could win 100% via LGW with a less complicated method. Meaning this fight had to be that heavily in favor of Chrollo for him to win. And that's terrifying. From talent to intellegence, Chrollo always seemed above Hisoka. But maybe it wasn't as much of a gap as we all thought?
@@Javetts I think it's a missunderstanding there because, Neon died way earlier during the anime, which takes away this theory. Even if this is somehow accurate, it can be understandable I think. Chrollo also understood at the end of YorkNew arc that faith prediction can be changed, which would make him suspicios about LGW accuracy.
@@jon_ovo3653 Thanks man. We don't know who's gonna win or if they even get to fight again. He wanted to battle against the leader of the phantom troupe and he knows damn well that the troupe members are gonna have chrollos back since the troupe dont f with no traitors. It is so poetic how the Phantom trupe was this façade. They are all basically sheep in wolves clothe, that over time actually became strong but were always only faked being rabid. The Phantom Troupe gave a perfect performance and for that they just attracted real rabid wolves. Kurapika and Hisoka may have dufferent motive but they are the real thing, the Troupe us not. They will always be just actors. My head canon is half the troupe will die in the black whale. Half will die in the new world. The scene of Chrollo alone is him going back to Meteor City to save it from the Ant King Gyro. But Chrollo needed to see the two extremes of Hisoka and Kurapika to become the monster that can kill Gyro and finally create a new Meteor City

Usualy I try to read and understand the manga but HxH with its walls of text is sometimes problematic. Now I love this fight even more becasue everything makes sense
Gojo vs Sukuna had the same vibe has Hisoka vs Chrollo. With Gojo and Hisoka being probably the Stronger ones but their opponents had time to plan a way for victory. Sukana having time to tame Mahoraga and and using behind vowing to to blind side Gojo and chrollo getting the option of choosing the time and place for his fight with Hisoka which gave Chrollo alll the advantage. Hisoka didn't get a boost while he's alive again. Post mortem nen activates while in the state of death. It's based on the principle of the nen vow/restriction. For being dead, your nen lives on. Since hisoka is alive that doesn't apply to him cuz the post mortem nen was only used to revive him.
I'm actually still refreshing up to the new stuff and I'm on the chapter where they go over the troupe's background as children during the Succession War Arc. It's three chapters called "Formation." I'm on the last chapter of Formation. Chrollo, interestingly enough, although he's intelligent and well prepared, doesn't seem like the guy who would become the Chrollo we all know. I swear hxh and jjk decide to merge and hit a middle ground it would be the best manga. Similiar power systems but one explains the bare minimum and the other spends several chapters explaining an ability.
I understand why some people still believe Hisoka is stronger then Chrollo, but idk for me Battle IQ is a factor in strength and with that Chrollo > Hisoka
@SolidSnake240 The basis for that is that Chrollo has already defeated Hisoka by outsmarting him, which is literally the only statement I made. I said nothing about how other nen abilities correspond with one another or how certain individuals match up better than others. This is literally a specific conversation about 2 characters who we've already seen fight in response to specific statements I've seen about why Hisoka is still stronger than Chrollo because Chrollo only won due to his strategy. Chrollo has demonstrated incredible battle IQ in his few fights in the series. I'm not sure how that has anything to do with DBZ other than trying to be a thinly veiled insult at me, lol. Battles can of course go either way depending on nen abilities, not sure that's relevant though because I'm speaking directly on Hisoka vs Chrollo who's nen abilities we've seen in action against one another so this isn't some random matchup. Chrollo has the ability to copy nen abilities and has the battle IQ to formulate strategies necessary to secure victory against someone like Hisoka. This isn't a discussion about some miniscule power level or random transformation power up, which would be obvious for anyone who wasn't simply looking to insult somebody like you, lol.
I was actually agreeing with you. I thought I typed more than I actually did but yea. I was referring to the people that try to use Chrollo having a plan as an argument for why Hisoka>Chrollo when it it isn't that straightforward especially when it comes to high level nen masters like them.
Hisoka is stronger than Chrollo physically speaking. In terms of IQ I’d give it to Hisoka because he can deduce a super complex plan that Chrollo had. Hisoka had to think of numerous ways Chrollo’s nen abilities work in succession to each other then get fooled and ended up figuring it out himself. He got overwhelmed due to the fact Chrollo got help during the fight and the giveaway is Hisoka figuring out that the amount of puppets towards the end of the fight didn’t make sense and this is after he correctly deduced Chrollo’s plan
We don’t know Kirtopi and Shalnatk’s abilities are lost as you said pos-Morten nen allowed Chrollo to have sun and moon ability. Also there must a restriction for Hisoka’s post Morten ability like a contract with limitations
No it took all that to planning to completely body Hisoka with a 100% certainty. Chrollo and Hisoka were fighting for completely different reasons. Chrollo doesn't fight people for fun like Hisoka, he wanted to guarantee victory and that's what he did.
@@SolidSnake240Nah it took all that planning to kill Hisoka and currently chrollo needs a special nen ability to kill Hisoka as he's still not 100% sure he can beat him without prep time.
I think he did get a power up. He is now able to combine Texture Surprise and Bungee Gum to create his new face and limbs, like he awakened his ability and can now use his foot to jump like he did when he kicked Shalnark , even maybe eventually make his body more and more Bungee Gum as he keep losing limbs lol so partially replaceable and able to control those body parts as he does with nen. Round 2 is around the corner and might give us some answers ;)
This has been in contention for a while but the things you mentioned should have been things that Hisoka should have been able to do since ep1 of the show. I don't think he got a power boost at all tbh @@tomperez5482
No he didn't and the people that say he did aren't understanding how post mortem, nen actually works. I like manganamist but he's another UA-camr that keeps spreading this idea even though post mortem nen was never shown or stated to make someone stronger if they use it. There's a reason why it's also referred to as Nen after death. The resulting nen or curse after someone dies is amplified due to their strong emotions/resolve. If people could just die and revive themselves with Nen for a power boost then Prince Camilla would be the most broken character cuz there'd be no reason why she wouldn't just spam it to keep getting stronger. Every example we've seen of it has been after a character dies. The way post mortem nen is described is always AFTER a nen user dies.
@@tomperez5482Making prosthetics isn't a new ability he unlocked. It's quite literally just combining texture surprise and bungee gum. Hisoka never got his limbs blown off before so he would've never had to use that until his fight with Chrollo. We've seen Hisoka combine these techniques before. His prosthetics do give him new ways to use his body but thats more of a testament to Hisoka's talent and skill with Nen than a power boost.
You're correct, he did get stronger but not because of post mortem nen. His new leg and hand can just be used in better ways now. Also he's going all out now, @@SolidSnake240
Chrollo prob Wont have nearly as much advantages he had in round one andd hisoka is stronger now( doesnt help hisoka took out two of his allies and abilities )

You do realize that you have to be dead to use post mortem nen right? I swear people keep spreading this false info around don't even know how the power system works. You don't just walk around with post mortem nen. Death is a requirement for it to take effect. It's literally in the name.

Befor knowing the copy + sun & moon combo. Hisoka thought that as long as clones are out fighting, he won't have to worry about anything else since copy + order stamp occupies all his slots. After seeing face swap active, he knew he fucked up.
I’m spiting myself, but the fact that he couldn’t lose the fight makes it a pointless watch for me. I only want guaranteed wins in DBZ cos I’ve been watching it since I was 4. We don’t know Kirtopi and Shalnatk’s abilities are lost as you said pos-Morten nen allowed Chrollo to have sun and moon ability. Also there must a restriction for Hisoka’s post Morten ability like a contract with limitations
This fight is so goated
Hisoka and Kurapika Vs Tserreichnich?
Easily in my top 5 HxH nen battles.
the fact he targeted the ppl whose abilities hisoka used is cold haahhah
what chapter does this fight start
Chrollo walked him so bad it broke hisoka mind 😂😂😂
You know what kuroro vs hisoka rematch is gonna happened next chapter and that lead toward 9th prince to win in the 10 hours
Damn... it took all that planning to kill Hisoka
Did Hisoka actually get a power boost from the process of reviving himself with post mortem nen or did he just revive himself?
I've always wondered if a page can be ripped from the book. Like if Hisoka got bungee gum on the page and ripped it. A weakness maybe?
The next gojo vs sukuna type of fight....
Kinda wondering how the f they will animate this fight, lol
Nah, I'd Win intensifies at 1:33.
sooooo coool
Chrollo is my second favorite anime character after Blackbeard he’s a BEAST
Bruh he's a Jumper
@ so?? Who said any of these anime’s were the peak of honorable fights ???
@@fatherofrose4027 I was talking about What you said about BB
@ brother…. Pirating is a team sport stop letting luffy confuse you
@@fatherofrose4027he gets bodied even with team also
Togashi is a fkg god man
Who do y’all think will win round two?
Chrollo prob Wont have nearly as much advantages he had in round one andd hisoka is stronger now( doesnt help hisoka took out two of his allies and abilities )
Could go either way. Chrollo actually has a reason to fight Hisoka now.
no round 2, they all jump the clown
Chrollo will win again
Is a nice video, but I think you’re wrong.chrollo did not intend just to win the battle against Hisoka I think he wanted to killed with the lest possible damage
I thought hisoka killed shalnark at the park
That’s why chrollo bout to die to hisokas post mortem nen
Don’t count on it Chrollo finna send that clown to hell for a second time easily
@@jon_ovo3653 lol I love the energy but buddy needed to much prep time plus succession chaos and that flash back doesn’t look good for the troupe it’ll break kurapika which will lead to his death by tserredernich
@ prep ain’t a problem if your enemy thinks he’s that guy let him prove it unfortunately hisoka isn’t and it cost him everything he was
@@jon_ovo3653 I promise you hisoka gone kill them that flash back proves it kurapika will find out and lose his will to live which will cause kurapikas death in the process it’s over for togashi favorite character
You do realize that you have to be dead to use post mortem nen right? I swear people keep spreading this false info around don't even know how the power system works. You don't just walk around with post mortem nen. Death is a requirement for it to take effect. It's literally in the name.
Episode 125 of hxh. Almost done with the anime 🙏
Have fun, the manga is really dense on a first read but when you understand it fully, it’s really good
@@Crazy_RandomPerson getting close!
A summary explaining over hxh 😅 hold my beer watch this said manganimist
bro i still havent read it yet ,pls dont spoil 😔 using the thumbnails and the title * is there a site that shows the english translations the day after the jp release , cuz i use manga plus which is offical site * and manga plus eng transactions releases tomorrow
Man it’s been years this is on you
Boy shut the fk up, it's been years since this fight
@jon_ovo3653 Is there a site to read hxh newest chapters in English without delay
The thumbnail and title don't spoil anything? 🤔
@@ManganimistYTI think the fact that it implies that they will be fighting. That could be considered a spoiler to some I suppose.
Hisoka and Monkey D. Luffy same power
Weird to assume he doesn’t have them. Postmodern nen?
Very good point.
@@SylvesterRahim possible for sure, the meteor city elder felt more like an exception than a standard though
Non nen users up in the audience must be so confused watching these fights since they can't see aura
I like when the whole, Sherlock Holmes style, plan every detail sort of characters fight.. but I atleast want some suspense
I’m just pissed Hisoka didn’t win😂
Weak ass Chrollo ran away and needed more prep time with all those ability’s meanwhile hisoka ready to stand on business anytime with bungee gum
Chrollo is still the goat
