It might be a stupid question, but if you connect it to a battery pack, will the camera work? Does it have an onboard memory module or it records on the phone?

great review. I have few queries, if you could help 1. Whats the maximum length of video you can shoot? many places it says it can record 10 sec video only. 2. How is the video quality ? compared like 360p, 720p, 1080p 3. How are pics as compared to 13 mp phone camera shooter? Plz reply
Thanks for yr comment.. Here is the answer as per yr request: 1. In the video recording setting, we can select for short video @ 10 sec or maximum length up to 5min. 2. The video quality record is at 720p (720x960). Quality video clearer image outdoor but noisy at low light. Video recorded in VR mode. Suitable to view using VR Box. 3. This camera quality seems better as newest latest phone now. The picture clear with resolution 5376x2688 for 360° in VR image. Very nice to view in own phone especially in Asteroid view, but to transfer the selected image only available with screenshot. So the output image only follow the phone screen resolution. Example my phone Redmi note 8 screenshot image at 2009x1080. Nice produced image for selfie purpose.

1. Yes, it works better with additional gimbal. I've try it during walking and even running. Results are better. 2. Both vertical and horizontal are the same. Bcoz there is almost no blind spot during recording. Its record the whole globe area around the camera. You can rotate the view as per required before playing the video in the app. But if you plan to use the video for VR box, better use default by vertical mode. 3. I just finish record 5min video with size of 269MB.
1 more, recording and shooting picture is always in VR image. Same as the picture transferring way, need to do screenshot to save selected image. Then the video, we need to select the desired view then re-record it using screen recording.

I had try some ideas. But they all didn't work. The camera need it's own app in the phone to work and do recording.

Thanks... So far it only can be used using huawei app (Huawei 360 Camera). I've tried to use other app but nothing happen.

It doesn't work.. I've tried it, indicator light on but nothing appear.

The watermark can be removed in the app. But the watermark actually, useful to cover the hand holding the phone.
