a long time ago there used to be an alicorn tribe until the fire nation attacked.
I don't get why everyone WANTS Celestia and Luna to be born Alicorns. I think it'd be far more interesting if they started out like everypony else. The story of how they earned their titles has far more story potential, after all. >_<
Surely, there's a difference between J K Rowling's "Word of God" and Lauren Faust/Amy Keating Rogers' "Word of God"? JK Rowling is the only person who has input on Harry Potter, whereas Lauren Faust isn't working on MLP anymore and AMK is competing against several different writers who have different ideas.
Pony theory?? Not gonna lie I'm actually awaiting a new channel for that with other pony theorists
Never underestimate lost knowledge, Josh. Just because Celestial and Luna are alicorns doesn't mean they witnessed their own births.
I pretty much agree with you here. Luna's and Celestia's births do not necessarily count as part of Equestrian history, and they could simply be baffled by an alicorn foal whose parents are not both alicorns.
Celestia has always been a problem for the show. They really have no idea what to do with her. They seem to want her to be powerful but since Twilight and her friends are the main characters they want them to solve the problem. They have a bit more leeway with Luna since she was a villain and is a character out of time. But they seem to have decided to ignore that second part after one episode.
in my opinion the show is the ultimate canon and if it contradicts something else then that thing it contradicts is wrong.
The book itself states that celestia and Luna were born in a foreign land, and celestia clearly says "the birth of an alicorn is something EQUESTRIA has never seen". so there.
And maybe someone toyed with records of alicorn birth records, someone who enjoys confusion and madness of the unknown, as in Discord... or someone like Discord... Q after misfired hyperdrive
I do prefer the idea of the comics being "supplementary canon" and if they could keep on the same page with the show writers and vice versa to keep the show interesting, the comics and books canon, and keeping the comics and books from being mandatory reading.
"Sharing Fondue"...
yeah another taking [blank] to seriously, I love these Firebrand, do you think you can keep doing these in review form too
"But what I and others say is not always truth." Shh, Lily will hear you.

I've been watching your videos for about a year now, and I have to say you've become my favorite analyst in the community. Your theories are well thought-out, and you seem very intelligent. Well done!
Glad to see another video from you Firebrand, especially a 'taking to seriously' one. And the joke about game theory really made me laugh! Good video, so keep making em
somebody give that editor guy (Dennis O'Keefe i believe it was) a cookie
Woo Josh is back!
