I apologize for the fps drops in some parts of the video, UA-cam can be very annoying at times. The video is totally fine on my hard drive, only when I upload it the fps kills itself :(
Just out of curiosity, though I'm pretty sure I get the gist of them all, what's up with the unusual train numbers? I mean, I know there's also ones like - - -X, which for Metrolink, indicates an extra train for special service to an event. Though, I've never heard of - - - Q, - - - QQ, or #/YLAX## (but I wouldn't be surprised of Y stands for yard besides the LAX part).
Qs are deadheads (not quite sure what the double Q indicates), in this case to and from CMF and Union Station. Same with YLAX, Amtrak Deadheads from Union Station to 8th street. Thanks for the comment!!
@@surfliner456 Ah, that makes sense. I used to take 682 and 689 between Fullerton and Santa Ana for school transportation (and sometimes A581, A564, and others). There was once I recall a standard MP36 + 6-car set that deadheaded through. Definitely a Q train headed for somewhere in the Inland Empire, although I'm not sure where specifically it was headed. By the time I got my phone out to get a video or even a photo... it was rounding the corner (on the East side of Fullerton).
