Spearfishing Extremely Rare Yellowfin Grouper (Fireback or Fire Grouper) - Islamorada, Florida Keys

In this video, I sustainably harvest a Yellowfin Grouper (not to be confused with Yellowfin Tuna) while freediving in Islamorada Florida. This fish is rare to find in the Florida Keys, especially the upper Keys, but more common in other parts of the world such as the Bahamas.
In this Video I teach Cody, a new spear fisherman and he lands his first fish ever! A Mangrove snapper. Captain Eamon also lands a Yellowjack. All within a few extra hours after work in the Florida keys out of Robbies Marina in Islamorada. It truly showcases the amazing fishery and world class fishing and spearfishing we have here in the Keys.
