I believe it may be raw fuel. I seen one with 5 engines on alcohol that went boom after it pulled up some must have got on the headers and all the shit underneath went up and they said it was an alcohol fire so it must be some overflow or something similar for them
Watch the audience in the background. All hands up to their ears during the run, all hands down afterwards, over and over again. Kind of funny after about the third or fourth time. Makes me want to add a little ditty to it - hands up, hands down, pass the beer around and do it all again.
You're looking at 5800hp or more, as long as an Unlimited tractor doesn't exceed the weight threshold (8000lbs, according to Pulling 101), they can make as much hp as possible.
I couldn't help but notice how clean many of those dual exhaust diesels were burning. No smoke, PLENTY of power!!! their turbo chargers must be supplying enough air to burn all of the fuel they need to inject, to make the necessary torque.
@@fireballboys8902 You could be right. However, new, computer controlled diesels are designed for stoichiosymetry, which means that there is only enough fuel to use the air provided by the turbo chargers. You can get slightly more power burning more fuel, because the increase in carbon monoxide, vs carbon dioxide. At that point, you're gaining only a little more power, by burning a lot more fuel. New diesels burn very clean under a steady state load.
That's cuz they are running on alcohol also the glow plugs are replaced by spark plugs and if your wondering about the turbos there atleast 3 of the them 2 feeding into 1 and yes the horsepower they make is insane anywhere from 2800- 3500 hp no joke
@@vincentrobinette1507they run on alcohol flow plugs are replaced with regular spark plugs and yes massive 4 inch diameter turbo inlets and theres 3 of them on those tractors massive hp up from 2800 -3500 hp
Check out some of my other videos. Here's one from the West Michigan Pullers. They have a Field Farm Tractor class. They are the first class to pull in this video: ua-cam.com/video/6c2SqF1UINs/v-deo.html
Couldnt see the most smoking slædehunden/sledgedog with its 2 russian diesel tankengines and the hemi ethanol engine in the front.

These things are toys. You want to see some pulling POWER!!! Bring in a turn of the century steam tractor. They'll pull that sled back to the farm. They're not fast but they get the job done and then they'll plow the fields.
Back for more of the great stuff you guys thanks again guys
The mini’s are badass!! All that horsepower in such a small tractor is awesome!!
Great Video, well edited !! Nothing but action
I like it when there's a train in the background
Good video , I was there that night and as a big fan of Warpath He absolutely hammered that thing, fun to watch even tho something came apart!
I'm sure if you add up the IQ of all those participating and watching the number would be extremely low.
Seriously Dude?
Back again for the great stuff guys thanks again
Happy new year guys 2019
As usual, great video! Love your stuff!👍
Boy! I was here quick! When I clicked on this, it said "uploaded 6 seconds ago".😄

sheesh, almost as fast as them pullahs haul off the line!!!
I love watching the folks in the stands doing their arm exercises!
Back again can't get Enough of these great Sounds colorful vehicles
Train in the back: Oh that looks like fun, pull this for a living.
7:50 "Uh oh. And he's got this thing turned up. He's got the LICK turned up on this tractor tonight!"
*engine has left the chat*
Thanks for a great video guys
What's the white smoke coming from the bottom of some of them? Crankcase ventilation?
Yup
The only thing I wish I could know is the distance at the end of each pull. Other than that. Excellent quality.
Thanks! I always link the results in the video description when they get posted online. Here's Wellington's results: ntpapull.com/pullresults/2018-WellOH-00.htm
How does the competition work?
Anybody know what that white smoke under the chassis is from the alcohol blown engines??
I'm wondering the same, looks like almost every pull has some sort of hose spraying?

@@trentmatthews5521 it's just oil blow by nothing bad just
I believe it's a crankcase ventilation system

They should all be wearing ear plugs, respirators, and straight jackets.
Nice work
Now this was a damn good video!!!
One thing I don't like about all the tractor pull videos I have seen is they don't give any stats, like how far they went and who won.
Results are always linked in the video description: ntpapull.com/pullresults/2018-WellOH-00.htm
Thanks!
How much hp are those rigs with 4 or 5 motors running?
Easily 1000 hp per engine
You're looking at 5800hp or more, as long as an Unlimited tractor doesn't exceed the weight threshold (8000lbs, according to Pulling 101), they can make as much hp as possible.
They are not motors they are call engines.
No shit I know the difference
Try 2500-3000 HP per engine

I think those are burning alcohol, coal rollers are diesel.

Should had showed the full pull tractor.
13:00 the announcers comment had me rollin... "all the sudden.......... not" lol
Lol ...not
Is it really still a tractor when it has 4 or 5 engines?
13:21 alotttttta boost making into the block and out the ccv 🤦♂️
No RR-Griffons competing?
Well yeah not here in the states plus the supercharged automotive hemis are too much for them
@@nitronick84 hemi makes less hp then the griffon, but then again they can use 5 hemis...
America! Fuck yeah! I love big loud machines.
At what point in a build does it stop being a tractor? I want to SEE a piece of farm equipment pulling the sled, not a race car.

Why do all your videos look sped up
No speed altering takes place, unless I am showing a slow-mo replay of something. All clips are original recordings.
Awesome. Clicked 500👍
My only regret is I can't give you more than one thumbs up 👍's

Came here from Donut Media...
Piotr Piwowarski same
Even with 5! pro stock engines he’s getting out done with 1 engine.
Well, just for the moment. Once their paired up and the lead motogo squered away ....hebgone
In Europe they have more imagination than just strapping V8s to a tractor
Hi
Hi guys 5 👍 up for you
