- This NEW 3 & D OFF GUARD BUILD is one of the best lockdown builds in NBA 2K22. It also might be one of the best ISO builds in 2K22 because not only can it shut down the opponent on the outside and inside but it can dribble, shoot and dunk. Add in slashing takeover for contact dunks and this build can really do everything in NBA 2K22.

@@twquan just play 12 min then drop to 10 and keep dropping down until you notice your stats changing then stop, so for me i play 7-10 min qtrs and still get stupid badge points

Slash take is the worst this year because contact dunks are so rare and when you finally get slashing take they do everything in their power to stop you getting a poster…they need to increase the rate at which contacts happen considering damn near every white goes in so why can I just get a few more dunks a game?

This year I made a build off what you said about making a build that fits your play style. So I made a pf who can shoot play defense, be the secondary ball handler, can get all contact dunks and I have double lock take so I can guard ball on defense and i’m 6’8!
Why make it a pf when the pg at 6'8 would probably have better badge layout? Just curious as to why you chose a small pf

@@plalismhater9326 oh didnt even think about that part nice unique build i hope it works out for you . i personally am on next gen and i got a 6'10 center that can shoot the 3 got a 74 ball control and 98 block rating as well as solid defense in every category i just cant dunk but the build is easy for the rep grind and fun to play with

yeah my slash take on my big doesn't get me dunks period lol. I do straight layups 90% of the time it's wild.
Not that you’re never going to get a contact dunk animation, but it’s unlikely even with slash take since you can’t even equip the animations on this build since it has a 76 driving dunk at 99 OVR when you need a 84 driving dunk to buy the contact dunk packages. And you only get 4 finishing badges. But, that’s only for contact dunks, this build doesn’t seem bad at all, and seems like a pretty good all round build, probably one of the better ones I’ve seen. If you could blow past your defender off the dribble, that’s like a 90% guaranteed dunk anyway and wouldn’t even need contact dunks.

why cant i get contact dunks on current gen? cuz it doesnt matter if i have slasher takeover on, boost, anything.. my player never get contact dunks.. 84 driving dunk, animations and stuff.. still cant get those contact dunks.. anybody help?

FUN FACT: NBA teams shoot roughly 40% from 3 on what are considered WIDE OPEN SHOTS.
In 2k22, every open 3 goes in. It is a terrible meta and makes for bad gameplay.
I'm fine with open threes going in just not contested ones

@@_camy_ mostly green, red chart, just make the badge count like his, and mid range to like 75 and mess around with the wingspan, he can be 6’5 like the one in the video but if you want a 70 block and 2 speed points slower go 6’6

Joe a slashing playmaker is the way. If u can time ur jumpshot ur fine. I get a 89 driving dunk and a 70 3 ball at 99
You shouldn’t have to green to make everything lol, not everyone has att fiber with 2 ping and a 0 refresh monitor to play on. It makes the game ok for casuals

I feel like you should only make whites in 2k if you’re wide open
Defense is the skill gap this year and shot selection
If you’re open the shot goes in it’s realistic, but once someone even stand close to you it makes you miss.

There's a facilitating finisher build that I made from the jack of all trades build thats better 81 driving dunk 77 ball Handel I can't remember the defense numbers but I know I put lock take on it so check it out oh and the 3 pt is high as well
